The Old World Football league (OFL) is starting a new era Season 31
This is a NFL format for Blood Bowl 2 which mimicks the NFL for you that knows what this is.
There are 14 games a season where you play your division rivals twice in a season.

Free agency is also available through till round 11 then the free agency closes.
We are after dedicated coaches that will see out a season through thick and thin no matter what happens to your team, as free agents are available for you to purchase to keep your playoff chances alive.

All teams start out with 1150k you get a level 4 stadium and 1 stadium enhancement to start.

There is also a race draft as you move up and down the draft to get your desired free agent salary cap, race and scout flags, to help your players level up quicker.

This is for the hardcore players that want to develop a franchise.

There are 3 seasons to a full era and it's all about player development and trying to avoid death on your favourite players.

A full era consists of 42 games which is spread over 3 seasons.

BBTactics.com seeks new coaches to join its Fast Crunch league!

Fast Crunch league consists of 4 rounds of Round Robins with a Knock Out at the end, where the Champion is crowned. The teams start with some skills and gold allocation, based on their tiers. The competition is fast and is perfect to try out a new faction, or figure out how to win the cup with given limitations.

Fast Crunch has been running since Day 1 when Blood Bowl 3 was released and had proven to be a fun competitions as coaches coming back to it for more.

Small casual league seeks a few more for Season 14 of The Crypt.  New or experienced coaches welcomed.  New signups will start along with other new teams.  Season start date is anticipated to be 10th November.  The regular season will be from 6 to 10 games followed by a Resurrection mode knockout vs the other divisions after the regular season completes.  Cross-platform compatible.  Mostly Euro but a few US side coaches also.  Very friendly, and we are pretty flexible with the schedule.  Any questions DM me on here or Discord.

Last but not least, be aware that Blood Bowl is a game of chance and bad things could happen in-game to your players. I highly recommend people that who have a weak heart, hates the possibility of your players dying, or have bad luck don't play this game. All inducements and stadium upgrades are allowed.  All Star Players are allowed.

I will be running the League via FB (hopefully by Discord too) - have started a FB Group a few minutes ago - private...so only me in  ... will look into creating a Discord group too, by this weekend)
 

A good starting point is 10 coaches, with all play all...top four through to playoffs.
No rules limitations - just play and see what happens.

Suggestions will be considered for Season 2 - well...if S1 is completed and we get to a S2!

Two things: starting at a 2-week per Match day turnaround: with a fresh MD 2-week limit starting when the preceding one finishes.

About us:

Chaos Invitational is most known for hosting the largest team based cross-community competition, relying on close collaboration with the participating communities. The league is entirely focused on acting as a complement to existing leagues, so it is more about getting to know ppl in other BB communities. The Chaos Ladders provide a casual complement to the main (by invitation and team based) competition, and is for individual coaches who fit into the well spirited (but often bloody!) environment we have. They compete for the Open Championship (fresh teams, with special diversity rules) and the Allstar Championship. Prizes include a totally gold-looking title, eternal glory, and a crowd of angry coaches looking to take your scalp next season.

OCC is looking for 6 courageous coaches willing to represent the league in the prestigious Chaos AD Invitational.

It is an inter-league tournament starting in early September, lasting approximately 4 months, with 2 weeks match days.

The ruleset is quite complete, with rules looking to favor race diversity, so the team would need all types of coaches.

League teams (i.e. warbands) are made of 6 coaches and a captain. Captain’s role is to plan the 6 matchups for each round, which will be determined in an alternate manner : A-B-B-B-A-A, thus introducing some nice strategic discussions.

So if you are in for this type of adventure, please sign in right here. If we have more than 6 coaches registered, we will chose on a first-come-first-serve manner and considering coaches involvement in OCC.

This tournament already involves many different warbands from many leagues (already 8), so full commitment to the whole tourney will be mandatory, with classic OCC rules in case of drop out.

Do remember though, that MDs last for 14 days each.

OCC is looking for a five coaches to represent our illustrious league in a 6th season of an interleague tournament, AD Invitational, where OCC has won one, soon perhaps two, championships already. Any participants would have a chance of carrying on this proud tradition of winning not to mention playing against some of the best coaches from other leagues.

This season would start sometime during September and lasts 4 to 5 months with one match per coach every two weeks.

Tournament format takes a form of skirmishes between different teams, each skirmish consisting of two rounds/match days. Captains of opposing teams draft each rounds individual pairings in an alternating manner (A-B-B-B-A-A), allowing some strategic planning like trying to get our dorfs to face their amazons.

Anyone interested is welcome to join, but participants must be ready to play to the bitter end of the tournament and join on the required Discord servers. Ability to play a variety of teams is also advisible because tournament rules force a certain degree of race diversity for teams.

A 3 game Blood Bowl tournament with a big twist and extra challenges on the 29th of february 2020

We play according to the resurrection style of play. All coaches start each game with the same roster and skills they registered before the tournament.
Each coach builds their team with a treasury consisting of 1,100,000 gold crowns.
No inducements are available to any teams with the following exceptions: Goblins may buy 0-3 bribes and Halflings may buy 0-1 master chef.
All skills will be chosen before the tournament and will stay the same for all matches throughout the tournament. See the tier chart below for information on how many and which type of skills your selected team can choose. Skill stacking or stat

TIEBREAKERS

Individuals will be ranked by the points they have earned. Should two or more individuals have the same amount of points, the following tiebreakers will be used.

TIEBREAKER 1 - Number of victories
TIEBREAKER 2 - Number of draws
TIEBREAKER 3 - Opponent score (the sum of all points from all your opponents)
TIEBREAKER 4 - Net TD’s + Net Casualties


Extra tournament Rules (extra side competition):

Every Kick off A snotling shapeshifter, high on mountain fungus, will appear on the field (even if the previous one is killed)

Stats: 5-?-6-7
Skills : Block , Dodge , Super Stunty , Ball magnet , Shapeshifter ,
Claw & Razor Sharp Claw , Right Stuffed , Tactless

Super stunty : this players ignores all tackle zones and never have to roll to dodge to run away from any player . All other stunty rules are in effect.

Tactless: This player does not understand the meaning of blood bowl, the only thing he knows is that he needs to get the ball. Whenever he has the ball he does not know what to do with it , and he will run in random directions with the ball, use the scatter template to decide in which direction he runs. He will use up all of his movement. He will not move as long as he is in base contact with another player (this rules is only when he holds the ball, otherwise he will run straight tot he ball )

Ball magnet: When this player does not have the ball he will automatically runs towards the ball ignoring all Tz and when he gets to the ball he automatically picks it up. He also automatically intercepts a pass when able.

Razor sharp claw: This player has a +2 on the injury roll

Right stuffed: This player can be thrown with the throw teamate skill like he has right stuff , by any player who has the throw teammate skill or Kick teammate (punt) . He can also be pushed by any player in base contact with him (use the throw in template to decide the direction he moves) in addition any player who is pushing him must follow up like in frenzy , The nr of pushes is limited to 5 in one turn as this is the players max movement. To start pushing roll a d6 on a one he gets angry and attacks the one trying to push him, work this block out as normal (no turn over will happen unless the pushing player gets injured) on a push the pushing player is pushed back one square. Going for Push can be attempted but they only work on a 4 + , if the going for push fails he gets angry and blocks the pushing player.

Shapeshifter: When blocked , this player will get the same strength as the player blocking him (if he gets blocked by a St 4 , he is St 4 ) . he also can’t get stunned because no one knows his front or backside. He will stand up no matter what.

Extra rules: On the kick off put the shapeshifter in the middle of the field, use the scatter template and 2 d6 to decide where he will start this drive. If he lands on a player this player is knocked down (use claw and razor sharp claw to determine what happens with this player) , the shapeshifter will scatter tot he next square untill he lands on a free one. If he is in the public , the public tosses the player back in the field, if he was holding the ball throw both in seperatly.

Extra competition in the tournament:
Because there is a shapeshifter on the field some extra points can be earned by (ab)using him to his strengths. Points can be earned as follows (thes do not count tot he tournament result but are an extra side competition.
TD with the shapeshifter earns you 3 points
Cas on the shapeshifter earns you 2 points
A kill (death) on the shapeshifter gives you 3 points
Cas inflicted by the shapeshifter earns your opponent 2 points
Intercept by the shapshifter earns you 1 point (yes you can throw a pass over the shapeshifter , making him intercept to earn points and then score with him)

The winner of this side event will win a nice extra prize .

Several Gw Blood bowl teams will be given out at random between the participants , A nice trophee for the winner , The Wooden spoon and unluckiest player , we will dig out some extra prizes
