  1. Yes, agreed. What if I am at work at the moment the earth starts doing 1 spinn/year? Will my boss still have me working untill sundown?
  2. Due to ppl in general being unable to handle timezones I tend to talk in the timezone of my opponents current habitation. But thats me. If all did like me, it would be even more confusing (not only would we talk in two timezones again, we would add the option of misscalculate our opponents time ) . So, GMT works just fine UTC as well... To me its pretty much two abbreviations for the same thing. Particulary since, as Hobnail pointed out, the actuall diferance between them is of no concern to us, unless the earth all of a suden decides to start spinining exactly one turn each year, in witch case the time stops according to GMT But GMT is more widely known, so to avoid confusion, UTC shouldnt be used in an enviroment like this. Those eager to use UTC can do so at Oxford/MIT.
  3. Skaven is the punchingbag of BB :P No mather what I play I like to play that against skavens :P Anyway, I'll sign them in when I get home, this afternoon. (16:30 GMT+2).
  4. Nwm this one, my Team is at 1420 with a Jugg/Block/Claw cow. I could reconfigure since I got 760k gold, But it seems better to just create a new team then :P Besides that, I got Orcs/Skaven/Gobbos at about 1200-1250 that might be better suited. Anyway, there might be a chaos team out there that fits the bill.
  5. I might have one actually, but I need to get home to see :P
  6. Damnit Scud, I keep getting hypnotized by that ninja cop on that video sequence :( This is no good, Im supposed to work
  7. ISM Now I've done my work, of you go and read all you like
  8. Not mine then To each one his taste. I could easily see me reading a report that are more like the analyze after a game of chess. But that requires alot of pictures and arrows etc. It would also be more educative to newer players. Or us boneheads
  9. I have several problems with writing matchreports. 1. I am a rather boring author and aware about the problem. I have a tendency of writing long long long long reports, where I get entangled in tactical choices etc. Pretty much a report and not much else. The BBM log is prolly just as fun to read 2. English isnt my native language. It takes me forever (an hour or two) to write a report and it doesnt help me in making it less boring. However, using Firefox helps out a tad with this problem, atleast I tend to get it spelled fairly okay. Unless being so of that I accedently use an other existing word (spelling the word Really as relay for instance). In an other game I used to play they had a expression for this problem "Perkalovian English" 3. There seem to be a lack of intrest. This is however only half true. Since I can see that ppl are atleast visiting the report and likely reading it thou never comments. 4. From the opposite side of the problem, I have problems finding time reading other players reports. I do find it intresting and fun but I tend to prioritize other things like playing WoT friends or w/e. This doesnt realy encurage anyone else to write :P All that said, I'll see if I get some time this weekend to do a report from my match against Hawca. That should be some fun reading (Fireball sent by Malekith him self, obviously). But I am a father of two, and time is a problem.
  10. Well, it would stop stupid dwarfs and orcs etc, from sliming their teams to keep TV down
  11. Yes, well. Nice of hte ref to actually send a guy of from time to time I havnt played the actuall boardgame since 3rd edition. And iirc, it is fair enuff to break the rules (add extra players as Hobs suggesting. Blitzing a second time, "forget" to move the turn marker or whatever), thou if the opponent calls for Illegal procedure its a turnover? I know I have been caught trying to blitz more then once(without the eventcard Blitz), on several occations. Thou I didnt do so on purpouse (belive it or not :P ), it has the exact same effect. So in short, as I remember it, its next to impossible to actually cheat in that version of the game. And you havnt broken any rule if you dont get caught, in witch case its a turnover. It was simply up to your opponent to enforce the rules, not up to you to follow them :P (ofc its possible to cheat, but not when it comes to gameplay. We had a player who had an suspicious amount of "magic helmets" on his "harder then Dwarfs, Highelfs. And an other who seem to have players who magicly rised in lvl ). Anyway, its simply a bug. And there is no way of handling it(other then forbiding the use of it), as it is in the bordgame (simply remove the player from the pitch?). In general I accept the game as it is, even if its not as it "should be" according to LRB6. But accepting this would simply meen that everyone would start with all their players on the pitch :P
  12. Yes, but then again, I could call Illegal Procedure. Thats kinda hard in this version :P
  13. Actually its not that bad. 30% armor breaks is fair enuff, thou maybe a bit low. BUT... 40/56 Armorbreaks from the opponent :P
  14. The island might indeed be a small one, but it harbours 3 times as much citizens as Australia :P .
