  1. And now for the last change, I revert my cancellation and will be taking part in OCC season 11 with my human team. Had to chance the team name as already entered the Mountaineers to OCB. So here is the final entry: Coach name (ingame): JuxuR Team name: Famous Finns Race: Human Sorry for the back and forth. PS. Edited for spelling errors only.
  2. Recently I've been listening to this: https://www.jsmorin.com/js-morins-books/black-ocean/ 85 hours (!) of great stories with excellent narration.
  3. The joke might be related to bananas in general, but I was focusing on that picture alone. The joke in the picture relates to girls kissing, but the singer being more interested in a banana (which references something other...).
  4. I don't know how many of you are familiar with Antti Tuisku, but the joke here is is that he is gay. Edit: I feel like this might have been obvious from the screen, but wanted to share this tidbit.
  5. And the way it works baffles me at times. Like this week when my 1350 humans got paired with 1700 chaos.
  6. Not arguing for it . I just don't like it how in MM you can be awarded for it because your opponent is determined based on your TV. Facing 11 player killer squads is no fun at all and I think everyone has met them. I'd like the game to reward having a deep bench in all formats.
  7. Yeah it's true that this would be more relevant to a perpetual ladder (MM), where the TV is a deciding factor in who you are going to face.
  8. Wouldn't this change actually lead to bigger inducements for teams at 11 players assuming the opponent fields a bigger team than currently? Because it would be cheaper for your opponent to increase his bench, but the TV would increase nevertheless. So you would have more inducements while facing the same 11 starting players. Only thing that would be harder for you would be to try to outbash the other team so badly that you would have a permanent (as opposed to only that drive) player advantage.
  9. One of the things that I really don't like in BB is the team minmaxing and especially when it leads/encourages players to field teams with 11/12 players. I think that the rules should encourage players to have a fuller team with replacement players, without giving so much of an advantage to the other team. I know that playing without a decent bench has it's risks, but at the moment I think the rewards for it are too high compared to the risks. Someone might have suggested this along the way, but I would really like to see what would be the effects of a rule where the most expensive 11 players would count their full cost towards the team TV and after that only half of the players cost would be counted. This would give more value to having a deep bench and would also somewhat mitigate the advantage bashiers teams have in any long running or perpetual league. What do you guys think? Dead on arrival or something with possible merit?
  10. Alas. As soon as I decided to get back to OCC, life finds a way to mess my plans. So unfortunately I have to cancel the registeration but I did join the Brawl with the team for random games.
  11. Coach name (ingame): JuxuR Team name: Masterful Mountaineers Race: Human Returning coach, new team
  12. Seriously? Even thought I´m intrigued by the changes this could bring, I can´t understand why they wouldn´t make this optional. So there won´t be a chance to play CRP Blood Bowl in BB2...
  13. I seem to be alone in thinking that it would suit on-going leagues like OCC . It would force more rotation in a team and make a "perfect" team harder to achieve and also make it harder to play at really high TV for a long time (with treasury). I think that it would make for a more interesting league play overall, but it would require the retirement limit to be high enough.
  14. Nice write-up! And luck was really on my side in the first half (finally ).
