  1. Eddie, an original wolf on Wolves of the Calla (currently in 2B), has finally reached his last choice as he reached legend in a victorious match. He started with MB, and was our first wolf to get it. He followed that with block and started overtaking his more successful backfield mate Roland. Once Roland lost his life on the pitch, Eddie really took over the team. His third skill was tackle followed by dodge and side step. So, he currently has been given: MB Block Tackle Dodge Side Step He rolled a normal. There are so many good skills I have no idea where to go from here. Some being considered: Diving Tackle, I don't want this guy marking the opposition very often, but having that option on turn 8 or 16 can be important Juggs - Deal with stand firm and wrestle Fend - Try to keep him alive a bit Jump Up - Keep him mobile and dangerous on the ground Dauntless - help me deal with strength, which can be a problem Leap - wouldn't use often, but the option... Piling on - I hate him on the ground, but it's good, EDIT it's a normal role, not a choice! Heck, even pro or sure feet have their merits. Nothing is great, but they're all decent. Any thoughts?
  2. On the north coast of far Albion lies a small fishing village which, due to a freak of the local climate, is almost perpetually shrouded in cloud. For hundreds of years this village has gone largely unnoticed and ignored, even by those who know it’s location. The locals keep to themselves, and outsiders rarely find need of anything the village might supply. This all may be about to change for reasons we shall expand on shortly. The only temple in the village locale is dedicated to the god Morr, though perhaps due to the isolation of the village, the priests have become slightly lax in respecting the rituals, and indeed have become complicit in what has been occurring here in recent days. There is one other shrine perhaps worth mentioning, though it is not situated in a temple, rather it is found in what may be loosely termed a stadium. It is a shrine to that most fickle of all gods. It is a shrine to Nuffle. The isolation of the village of Nurn occasionally draws in outsiders looking for solitude. One such recent resident goes by the name of Aedric. Occasionally, he may be known by others as Aedric, the Necromancer. Aedric arrived in Nurn some ten years past seeking solitude, a place away from watching eyes where he could conduct his grizzly experiments. Once his works were exposed locally, the villagers were aghast, angered at what they saw as the mutilation of family remains. Soon though, they changed their minds, for nothing changes minds more surely than sporting success! Aedric had not been idly experimenting without purpose. His researches into the Dark Arts had a goal in mind. Or, more correctly, a touchdown. Aedric used those past residents of Nurn interred in the county cemetery and created a team to play Nuffle’s Amorical Football. Nurn County were born! Beginning in the local Northern Albion Senior Division, County rapidly rose from nowhere to win the local title in only their second season. Having established themselves in the NASD (colloquially known as the “Nasty” league), they now seek further challenges and in doing so have left that league behind with one goal in mind. They have joined the Orca Cola Championship, and intend nothing short of world league domination!
  3. Right. Quantum Sufficit has been playing since phase 1 of the seeder. They had a rough start but then quickly developed some insane players that led them to some success in the first few seasons, dropping them in Tier 1 for Season 3. They've now been bumped down to Tier 2 for the second time, mostly due to the fact that they have been able to sustain a full team. Out of all the original players that made the team great, only one remains. Currently, we're sitting on 1380 TV with 10 players. Most of our positionals are unskilled. The reason we do not give up is twofold: We're in the high tiers and it takes a long time to get there. We have a solid core of players to build a new team on. Player Spotlight Dainbread has been with us since the very first game and together with the two golems he gives us a solid centre to play around. Mr. Blop has the potential to become incredibly scary if he can just punch a few more people hard enough to get the much-needed block skill. For a precious few games, Eyegore had MA 5. In QS, we believe +MA to be one of the most underrated level ups. Eyegore used his extra MA nearly every single turn he played. But now it's gone, and even though he's now bloaty, it makes no sense to fire him. So he's the third part of my solid centre from which I hope to develop my wolves and wights, who have 1 skill between the four of them.
  4. Superstar time for Uncle Soondead, he's a wight with ag 4, str 4, dodge, and sure hands. I'd kind of like to keep going down the road of unconventional, and was hoping for a double, but it's a regular roll. Suggestions welcome. I'm seriously considering strong arm, because then he can hold the ball quite safely until a wolf or ghoul can get through then pass from bloody anywhere. But I'm open to suggestions.
  5. “Are you sure you want to do this?” Master apothecary Rosewell had addressed the same question 7 times in the last hour, every one of them with a different inflection in his voice. First one had been of mockery, for such a suggestion had caught him off guard. The second time had been of disbelief, as he could not conceive that a young one would have such a death wish as to become a Blood Bowl coach. The third one had been a taunt, for such a girl could not know so much about the sport. The fourth one had been in pain, as she had stabbed his shoulder to the wood and was not really comfortable with the prospect of being tortured. The fifth one had been with a wicked grin, as he expected the team to dismember her as soon as she walked inside their cages. The sixth one had been in awe, as not only she managed to subjugate Son of Arugal; she also fixed the screws of Rammstein and sewed together a new zombie with the remains she found around. The last one had been, again, of disbelief, as he could not understand why such a skilled living individual wanted to do something as lowly as to command the Royal Apothecary Society back into the OCC. “I can't wait to get started,” replied Jenny.
