  1. Yuriversal Studios presents you: 50 Shades of Leap Cast: On our leading roles we present you best of the best and they are: Jaromir Dvorkin as Christian Grey Ludomir Gajovic as Elliot Grey Dimitri Jalowetz as Anastasia Steele (uhm. excuse me mr. this is womans role) (Okay nevermind, moving on) Wait where are rest of our cast? Welp, seems that oligarks didnt sponsor us enough. Well, we gotta improvise from now on. Lets introduce rest of our staff! Producer Brodsky Writer Masur Makeup Artist Bondar Editor Gurow Director Jastrow Costume Designer Bogdan Camera Tecnician Bjerno Music Editor Arseneyev Seems like our chief of security is missing, among with few other crucial members. We also managed to pinch in our budget amazingly 3 re-takes or as you common folks use to say "rerolls". But before we leave you all moaning for trailer we got a last major statement. We aint doing Bloody Bowlywood film here!
  2. Now that the honeymoon phase of a newer race is over, there are only 4 of us coaching Kislev this season... @Sliceanddice, @wismerhill, and newcomer to the suffering @Merlinpig. The initial furor of excitement has given way to some harsh truths: This race is difficult to coach, but even more difficult to manage and develop. Most of our compatriots have thrown in the towel. Those of us with developed teams seem to have settled around 1700~ tv. How critical have you both felt the bear has been to your successes at this TV? What are your thoughts about the teams overall identity (and overall competitiveness?) in relation to other races? Any other musings you'd like to share? I think anyone whose played with Kislev could tell you that they have some very strong tools to work with. The question quickly becomes 'what is the most tv effective way to manage those tools' and get bang for your buck, instead of bloat.
  3. Okey, this is a bit late compared to most team blogs in here, but I wanted any potentially short and sad story to be about a fall from grace rather than staying in the gutter. Anyway, I present to you the Vanguard Party: With 3 seasons behind them, they have reached the very middle of the totem pole in tier 3 division B, making it an advancement each season. No awards won so far or any other major glories, but record is pretty good and most of the team is alive as well. Only losses have actually been 1 catcher and 3 linemen as dead and 2 or 3 linemen sacked due to injuries. Some amazing players there, especially the ma8 ag5 that can one turn me some draws now that I just got him the +ma after the last match. Then again, this is Kislev and this kind of setup is what they are wont to do if they do not die; cost is my humongous TV that is the second largest in the whole tier only because @Com Yarrick got his bloated ogres up as well, I applaud him for that performance. Still, even if wizards rain hellfire on me every match day, I feel pretty confident about keeping this team, or at least most of it, alive during this season, as my division has been blessed with abundance of no-claw teams and some very juicy targets even. The promise of Kislev-on-Kislev action also tickles my bones. Bouffon - Vanguard Party - Kislev Smiling Tom - BBC Parchelona - Human jounisii - Boyz in Spandex - Elven Union LiquidWolf - Liquidnords - Norse Nicola17 - Tzeentch's Globetrotters - Chaos Khornight - The MacLeods - Norse Aguelo - Everlasting Rest - Khemri LordJair - The Stoutly Lads - Dwarf tubragg - Cirkus Cirkör Bloodbowl - Kislev Mark_B - The Rolling Warpstones - Underworld For a short while I mused about writing each match into action stories with bit of marxists theory thrown in, but my writing is mediocre at best, slow as treeman and I can't physically write any story with less than 10 000 words in it. As that would be a bit too much out me in addition to the matches themselves, I limit myself to analysing matches with some pictures after the fact and streaming them within the OCC's Discord server. Wish me luck, I usually need it.
  4. Hey all you masochists! Im still pondering what kind of starting roster to start with in OCC with my human disguised frogs. I normally start with 4 RR, 2 Blitzers and 1-2 catchers and well its working, ocasionally (you know how kislevs do in low tv). But soon as they develop they get pounded so hard and due bear is so expensive its hard to find money for it after all casualties. I tried 3RR, 2 blitzers and 1 Bear and it also works, ocasionally. But then bonehead happens, and happens and bear with me it happens. Never tried 4RR, 3 catcher, Bear roster but that would mean id have to drop my wonderfull blitzers behind, and who would do diving tackles then? (They rarely do either, but we dont talk about that here) On next topic then! Blitzers, they seem to fail EVERY crucial roll, but thats not the point. How you guys develop them? Blodge Utility guy, Killer, Marker, Ballhawk? Due they have so good skill choices id love to hear how you guys (or girls.. uhm i mean persons) do it. Answer on +3 roll, no team rerolls left (damn that 3d block with 3 skulls)

  6. After my mishap last season where I went and played with chorfs, I will now return to a less stressfull and more straightforward race to play... KISSLANN!!! Not entirely true what I said before, as Kislev is a very High Risk High Gain/Pain kinda team, but having played both Underworld and Pro Elf for a couple of season I should be used to crying during a match when I roll yet another snake-eye. Its always better than to expect to keep players alive cause they have AV9 and then end up replacing 1-2 chorfs every 3 matches and ending a full season with a whopping 4 skillups with one of the easiest teams to play at low TV.... After a lot of deliberation I have decided to go with the Bear, 2 catchers, 1 blitzer ,linos and 3 RR. If Nuffle allows it ill buy a 2nd blitzer asap and then go for 3 or 4 catchers, but thats waaaaay to much planning ahead :) So after this short why and how, its time for the WHO!! The team appears to be a usual Kislev circus squad, but appearances can be deceiving. In thruth the team is a roaming SLANN warband who has taken over the spaceship from the starship troopers, after yet another one expansion tries. The Slann also discovered a cunning holographic device transforming then into humans to the naked eye. As they dont know any human names they have adopted the names of the poor starship Troopers they have beaten and eaten. bring on S5 first match will be vs a chaos squad with a mino, 3 warriors and 2 RR, oh joy!
  7. Well the season in 3C started out pretty well. I started out 3-0 with my complete team intact. My TV was a bit high at 1900ish, but the team was managing. But over the last 6 weeks the wheels fell off when I faced high elves, and in MD9 the dark elves really put the nail in the coffin. I finished with 32 casualties against, and 7 of those were deaths. I doubt anyone but the vampires will end with more casualties against in tier 3. My team now consists of one -MA blitzer, one -AV catcher, a niggled +STR linemen, a -MA linemen, bear, another catcher, and two other linemen. I'm now at 1270 TV, and in 3rd place with a final record of 5-1-3. I'm not sure if the team will be promoted to tier 2, but I don't think I could stomach trying to rebuild in tier 2 or 3. So it's time to say farewell to the Kislev experiment for now. They are a fun team to play at times, but when they go down they go down hard!
  8. To whom it may concern, I'm going to take it easy on the fancy stuff for a bit, so no stories in the foreseeable future. I'll still do match reports and do the stream/VODs. ----- ----- ----- SATURDAY 14/04/2018 19h30 UTC CLAN OF THE CIRCUS BEAR VS WOMEN WITH ATTITUDE TWITCH YOUTUBE
  9. Back with more of what you didn't ask for. They may not steal the game, but they are sure to steal hearts. Bumbling their way to a pitch near you, Bear witness to; I'm mundane at drawing and blood bowl coaching. But when I combine the two I can create mild amusement for myself, and maybe even others in the process. Expect underwhelming performance on the field, incoherent to bewildering match reports, and the unbridled power of mspaint.
  10. Not knowing what to expect or where we go, I sit here making plans for some thing new. I look at my Troop and I see a group of guys who just can't cut it in the Big Tent. They are out of sorts, only last week we lost our star tumbler as he was dropped from the trapeze. If there was ever a silver lining, our Circus Bear didn't need feeding that day. So I've made calls to the contacts I know, I can't find a Circus act that will have us in all of Kislev, Ive tried the empire and I'm coming up short. Today I have made a break through. Blood Bowl. A league thats played across the lands, the Orca Cola championships. they are looking for a team to fill a league. only 2 issues with this, I swore I would walk away from Blood bowl after seeing my players pulled apart many moons ago. It still haunts me today, watching helplessly from the sidelines as I put out a group of Blood Bowl players in search of glory chasing a dream. Ive tasted that glory, Ive been to the top and lifted the Orca Cola Championship, but the nightmare still haunts me. Having to explain to parents why their son won't be coming home and then giving them hope as i explain their youngest could make it where their son failed. My other issue is, I don't have a team. The Harganeth Corsairs are disbanded and running successful raiding and pirating campaigns of the Empires coast lines. the Thorn of the Bloody Rose, My champions form days past have retired with their winnings, Carefree Wonder and Bluemoon, the legends who set and broke OCC records are running lower league teams in the Woods or Athelorn, and I have put out feelers to Y Ddiag Goch, the Lizards that came close. Ive heard nothing directly from them but words coming back are not good. How do I pay my next bill, how do I feed my Children? There is one choice. I look across to the broken Troop of tumblers and circus act called Come Jump with Me. If I'm honest I will get a season out of them, Ive secured a Tier 4 start, so its not with other rookies, but my low costs and bigger payday will cover me until next summer. These guys, have no idea what I've got them in too. I tried to explain that its a new Circus act thats made to look real, I hope they buy it. these guys have never thrown a Block, Passed a Ball or even handled one. Im going to need to tear up my play book, and re write a new. They only hope these have of survival let alone winning a game will come from an unorthodox game plan. Wish me luck
