Dreamy Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 This...is... the return of BLOODCENTRE!*WOOOO!!!* Hello, Bob! Hello, everybody...and hello again, Division 1 fans! Hello, Jim! This is BLOODCENTRE, folks, broadcasting LIVE from our cozy studios here at OCCN, the Orca-Cola News Network®! It is now time for the biggest, the meanest, the loudest and, of course, the dirtiest show on orcavision! Sexiest?!? Well Bob, my mum always told me that I was quite the little... Nevermind...some things never change, rightt?! Ain't that the truth, Bob! Hey, wait... Jim, it is now time for our Psychic B'stard contest, where the winner will take home the very prestigious and shiny GOLDEN BOB AWARD! Wowee! This one almost looks as good as the Golden Jim award, Bob! As always, here is a preview of this Seasons Division 1 teams! *Dun dun duuuuun! Dun dun duuuuuun!*Division 1 at a glance! Decayed Renegade's – Nurgle - Team Value 2220 – Coach smoked_g60 (Last season : 6-1-2 in Division 1)Team highlights -Ly-Da, a traditional Claw-POMBing Pestigor (also Block, Tackle and Juggernaut)-A real nice crew of three solid warriors (2 with Strength 5, one of which has blodge and tentacles)-The Seasons 22 and 25 Division 1 championship trophies, and the season 25 Golden Banana! All hail our Nurgle overlords! Did I tell you I was a HUGE Nurgle fan? I'm especially a fan of these big bad Warriors and Ugliak of Guck the Pro Blocking rock-solid Beast! KRRRRUNCH!! Expect this Nurgle squad to stay high in the standings all season long, but will they have enough farts in the tank to get the hat trick? Last time they won it they were all pooped out and had to go down to tier 2 to recuperate. Tune in and see how they manage this time!Pit Machine – Dwarf - Team Value 2360+ – Coach Chubberson (Last season : 5-3-1 in Division 1)Team highlights-Prisoner #666 - the unholy son of elf and dwarf - a runner with move 7 and agility 5.-Prisoner #347 - the second legend of the team, the cannibalistic Tackle-POMBing trollslayer-Their third season in Division 1, remaining up against all odds! Our second remaining team from last season is only the best dwarf team ever. This rock solid bunch silenced all critics and was able to stay in Division 1 for a third stint, and a second one straight in as many seasons, even though nobody gave them a snowball's chance in Hell of doing so! Rumours have it the successes of these filthy prisoners is why the Greybeards finally tossed in the towel. No dwarf team has ever reached these lofty heights of runner-up-dom before, and with this second shot at the championship coach Chubberson is sure to be pulling out all the stops to manage to go the last few yards and claim the full title in S26! I still have my doubts, however...Ghouls Gone Wild!! – Undead – Team Value 1780 – Coach Antonlunau (Last season : 7-1-1 in Tier 2)Team highlights-Oswald the Haunter, extra fast, extra agile, extra dodgy perfect wight legend.-Four nearly rookie ghouls (the three most experience barely know how to Block)-A team filled from wall to wall with a full sixteen players and still almost no team value at all. What can we say about the Ghouls gone wild? Antonlunau is back in Division 1 again, this time with a notably lower team value than last time. A couple seasons later, they're back with a plethora of players who are more than able to stand with wizards and starplayers and give the OCC's very best a run for their money. Antonlunau's previous attempt in division 1 was in season 22, but the game against smoked was never played, so we'll have to wait a few weeks to see them duke it out, as long as Antonlunau steps up to the line. The Stake House – Vampire – Team Value 2350 – Coach 20phoenix (Last season : 6-2-1 in Tier 2)Team highlights-Offensive and defensive freak Horace the Affable Owner (Strength 5 Frenzy Blodge Sidestep)-Sir Loin the magnificent ballcarrying thrall meatbag (+move, +agility, Pass, Block, Kickoff return)-Three vampires who also have extra move, thus defeating one of the vampire teams weaknessesThe Stake House have taken it to the top. After a seemingly endless stint in tier 2 these vampires have finally taken their game to the next level. Their roster looks stronger than ever, except for two trick knees that might bring misfortune at the worst time. Look for Joe the Unhygienic Chef to bring pain and misery to anyone Horace the Affable Owner doesn't surf off the pitch, and this team could go all the way.OrcyPython&theUnholyGrail – Vampire – Team Value 2300+ – Coach Bantha (Last season : 8-0-1 in Tier 2)Team highlights-Count Galahad of Purecity, both the fastest and the most crippled vampire alive-Still three legendary vampires on the team, despite a murderously crippling last season-King Arthur of Excalibur, the most famous killer vampire in the OCC, still #1Going in for their fourth stint in division 1, Orcy Python are the most experienced vampires in OCC when it comes to championship tries. They still haven't taken the cup, or grail as they call it, but it's not for lack of trying. And as their last season result shows, it is not due to lack of skills either. Following repeated relegations from division 1, and several significant deaths last season, Pythons were still able to regroup and come back to Division 1 with an almost perfect season. Will they manage that two seasons in a row?Pylon Pansies – Chaos – Team Value 2210 – Coach RTSD (Last season : 5-3-1 in Tier 2)Team highlights-Very low on claw and ballcarriers-No rookies on the starting lineup-Nineteen levels spread over the warriors, with everyone having Block and Mighty BlowPylon Pansies barely managed to eke into division 1, and it shows on the team. It is a solid enough team with good strengths, but it seems to lack that little extra needed to go all the way. Look for this well-balanced underdog to give the high-profile teams a run for their money, but eventually gaining not much other than valuable Division 1 experience.Don't Panic – Elf – Team Value 2200+ – Coach TYS123(Last season : 4-4-1 in Tier 2)Team highlights-One AG5 Superstar Catcher, and one AG 5 Superstar Thrower, and then two more superstar catchers including the very multi-versatile Zaphod Beeblebrox (+1MA, Block, Dodge, Mighty Blow, Guard)-Only two permanent injuries, both -MA, and one of those on a rookie lineman-Coach has plenty of Pro Elf experienceWhen the drek hits the fan these guys keep in mind to not panic! Get it? Coach TYS123 is no stranger to Elfballing, as he successfully coached the (in)famous E.L.F up to Tier 2 earlies, but a heavy slew of injuries left that team at around 1300 TV and he picked up stewardship of this new franchise and have taken them all the way through an incredibly even division in T2 to play for the championship. It will be interesting to see how he will fare with keeping this team intact when there is only a single goal in mind. Will the 14-player lineup hold their ground? I guess we will find out soon enough. The NeoMarxism – Khorne Demons – Team value 1920+ – Coach GUSYA! (Last season : 3-5-1 in Tier 2)Team highlights-Ultimate masters of the draw. No team in remembrance has managed to promote to division 1 through five draws-Masters of cloning. Two players are named Te'nar Bloodmaster, two are named Ur'gua Pitswimmer, and a whopping THREE are named Tz'ek't the Pitfighter.-No Bloodthirster and only one NeoMarxist - Stalin is still on the team. The only Khorne Demon team to ever have reached division 1, GUSYA! somehow managed to pull out just exactly what was needed to repeat the performance. It seems to have cost his team dearly, since most of the players are either crippled or rookies. But all in all the team is not that different from during it's last run, and with GUSYA! as coach opponents will have to be sidesteppers or expect a healthy dose of surfing, from nearly any place on the pitch. It's unlikely to bring them to victory, but it will be very amusing to watch.Romances With Wolves – Necromantic – Team Value 2060+ – Coach Akilirus (Last season : 5-3-1 in Tier 2)Team highlights-Hides in Bushes, the tackle-POMB legendary wolf-Sander the Unnatural, fastest ghoul in the OCC (+2 MA, Block, Sure Hands)-A very healthy squad with a solid 13-player roster and every player has at least one skillRomances with Wolves may very well prove to be this season's dark horse who could win it all. Coach Akirilus is up to his first visit in division 1, which means he'll either get surprised by all the spotlights, or he'll have something to prove and a bone to pick, and with this season't team makeup this hybrid team might just have what it takes.Shanghaied Shanks – Elf – Team Value 1840+ – Coach Mynock (Last season : 5-2-2 in Tier 2)Team highlights-Only ten players on the roster, and can only afford either the missing catcher or two linemen-Taldag Tallyho, master thrower (+AG, Accurate, Safe Throw, Block, Dodge - only missing the Strong arm which he'll probably learn when he turns legend)-Two elves with extra strength, a superstar catcher and an emerging star blitzer. This season's Division 1 has a lot of high agility. Two Vampire teams and two Elf teams. And this Elf team looks more like one expects an Elf team to look after having gone through Tier 2. Mynock has managed to keep his team fairly healthy a long time, but recently he's been on a long, slow and very painful trip through widowmaking territory. The Shanks will be needing plenty of inducements and feeble-handed opponents to be able to snag any wins - but this should happen once or twice during the season and it will likely be decisive for who gets the cup. It just won't be these elves. Well, that was fun! Okay, now that this is out of the way, are you ready for our psychic b'stard contest? Whee! That's my cue, Bob! Leave it all to me, I got this one! *Dun dun duuuuun! Dun dun duuuuuun!* JIM'S PICKS - PSYCHIC B'STARD CONTEST! Welcome back to Bloodcentre! They have avoided us gobziez since uz gave them their first loss ever a few seasons ago. Let's give it up for Bantha and Orcapython. It's just his turn, with all former tries, and being a Swede!
