The train station in Bergen is in the city centre. There is a direct route from Oslo to Bergen which is famous for the nice scenery across the Hardangervidda plateau at over 1.000 metres above sea level. See www.nsb.no for time tables and prices.

The venue
The venue is located in the City Centre in Olav Kyrresgate 49 at The “Akademiske kvarter.” The “Akademiske kvarter” is the students’ culture house in Bergen. Det Akademiske Kvarter was opened by Crown Prince Håkon 22th of february 1995. Kvarteret has three floors, hosts about 2200 events every year and has an extended capacity of 1500 visitors at a time. The house has 10 rooms daily used for debates, concerts and other events, over 12 serving points, – and thousands of visitors every week. http://kvarteret.no/om-kvarteret/

Tournament Rules

The Players
All the players that attend the Tournament are expected to conduct themselves appropriately throughout the tournament. That includes playing the game in the right spirit, making sure they have everything they need (dice, templates, clear team rosters and their team!) and in general contributing to a friendly environment where everyone can enjoy both their games and the time spent in between rounds with their peers. The tournament organizers will do their best to ensure that the tournament runs smoothly and everything is provided to enable the players to get as much enjoyment as possible from the event, and likewise the players should do their utmost to hold up their end of the bargain. Most important of all, enjoy yourself!

The Officials
The officials for the tournament are 100% committed to ensuring that your Pouring Rain  Open experience is the best it can possibly be. Our job is to make sure everything runs smoothly and that you can concentrate solely on your task at hand and that is to play the best you can for 2 days against likeminded people that share your love of the Bloodbowl hobby. We would like to state we are looking forward to the event as much as the players and pledge to do our best to run the event as smoothly and professionally as possible.

I expect that rule will indeed attract elfy types and metagaming dorf coaches. I do know one guy who might just be crazy enough to bring Khemri, though.

Sadly it's not me. If I attend any other tourney this year it will be Weegiebowl.

However I am amused by the fact Zulu found somewhere wetter than Scotland and decided to live there instead.

Wishing you well for the tournament, congrats on holding Norway's first of many!

Also, "Citybox" is a wonderfully honest name for a budget hotel.
