zulu501
Sometimes you feel safe in Europe, but gradually these events just seem to get closer. It is just around 16 months ago, when many Blood Bowlers were passing through this airport on their way back from Eurobowl.
 Awards

wolves in exile
Its only 20km of where i live so it is indeed very close. Luckely no one i know was at the airport or the metro at that moment.
 Awards

zippy75
More pointless, wanton evil. Just in time to harm the chances of those trying to escape middle-eastern warzones too. Am I alone in feeling there's a lot more to this than just some nutters hell-bent on blowing themselves and others up?
 Awards
Barristan
Depends what you mean by that. There is certainly a thinking head sending the nutters.

Rymdkejsaren
Spoke to Zephire this morning....he's OK... I cannot understand these lunatics.....makes voting for Donald Trump seem less unreasonable... It really doesn't. Nothing he says is even vaguely supported by reality. zippy75
But events such as these do seem to make (any)phobic sentiment *appear* a little less unreasonable... And as usual, the normal, decent person caught up in the crossfire.
 Awards
Barristan
I'm with RK. The simple fact he is considered to be President is an aberration. It is with great sadness I see the extremist (read racist) party growing stronger in France year after year, it could happen here as well.
PaloLV
Comparing the USA election to Blood Bowl we're basically about to have the choice between Nurgle (Hillary) or Chorfs (Trump) as our President.
Larkstar
To add a bit more levity... I disagree with Palo... Trump is most definitely Ogres - Bring as much stupid might as you can and hope things work out. Hillary is surely Goblins - Sneak around, rely on dirty tricks, hope you don't get caught, and people may actually believe you know what you're doing. Lots of thoughts for Belgians, and indeed, all of Europe today.
 Awards 2
Zephire
Cheers guys. I'm sure we'll all find a way to stop this sooner or later. However by the looks of things at the moment, it looks like it's going to be a lot later.
Zunk
I think I'm being misinterpretted.....I'm not American, so I won't get a vote....but as an outside observer, old Donald seems utterly unelectable based on his extreme statements these last few months. The actions of these ISIS lunatics pours fuel on Donald's fire.
 Awards 6
Barristan
He seems dangerously close to make it for someone who I agree to qualify as 'unelectable'. And yes, you have a point. Despite the fact that an ounce of common sense is sufficient to see he will only make it worse.

I fear the rest of the country may disagree though. I can see Trump as the next president. The way he talks about muslims and mexicans reminds me of mccarthyism and the internment of japanese americans in WW2. Glad to hear our Belgian coaches are ok. PaloLV
Trump isn't winning a single state in the general election. He's going to struggle to get 35% in the general election.
