Do or Die... 0-0 Necromaniacs USA

 

Chaos Drive:
Necromantic went all in, and with their multiple GUARD, and multiple +ST players held me at the half way.
Half ended 10 v 10 players wise (their Rookie Werewolf BH, my Secondary Ball Carrier, Dr. Evil III dead but apothecaried better)
Score 0-0

 

Necromantic Drive: 11 v 11

They went all in full tagging and potato plays - I used the Wizard and crowd surfed and gangfouled...but the made uphill plays and stoppe me - me from defensive scoring - and it all boiled down to needing a  4+ hand off, 3+ dodge, 2+ GFI to win on T16..and my team failed the 4+ hand-off.

Skeletor II levelled with the MVP and learnt 
Block.

Two Heads Up 2-1 Do or Die... 

Underworld took Glart, Fez , Wizard, and Bribe - everything worked for them, and Bribe not needed.

Underworld Drive:

They ripped through  my team, stalled three turns and scored...I...ahme..made it easy for them with three careless mis-clicks..oops!
They scored when it was 9 of them v 5 of mine.
1-0

 

Chaos Drive: 10 v 11:
Their wizard worked, along with all their plays, and they scored in four turns - after my AG4 Beast failed with a  1/1 GFI when going for the pick up.
2-0 

 

Chaos Drive: 11 v 11:

The Underworld Swamped me then two column defended - I needed a 4+,4+,3+, 2+ play for a consolation TD after the Underworld casualtied my scoring threat and made columns across the pitch.
..and my against the odds play worked!
2-1.

Underworld 1-TTD attempt failed with a fumbled throw.

Dire game where the Underworld outperformed my Team in every department.

Team news:
Secret Squirrel IV is in Hospital with a Smashed Collar Bone.

He is retiring - he only managed 2 games - flooring one opponent, causing a KO.
He was floored five times, only suffering an injury once - the Smashed Collar Bone.
Unlucky.

Means my scouts are on the look-out for:

No. 13 Secret Squirrel V

No. 15 Hong Kong Phooey III (first ever Minotaur if I lose my Warriors)

 

Good news: James T. Kirk III levelled to 5 in his 45th Game.

Home loss. They took a Babe.

My Drive:
They out-bashed me and based -  lost 4 players in 5 turns, they lost 1.
My T7 a mis-click (did not see an enemy Beastman in the rain and dodged into 3 TZ's with a Guard Warrior iirc) cost me the chance of a TD.

 

Their Drive:
11 of them v 10 of mine quickly became 9 of them v 6 of mine -  a formality T16 TD for the opposing Chaos.

I was out blocked, out injured and out dodged from T2 onwards..
Game only lasted 61 minutes.

Do or Die... 0-1 Totsukegi Raigeki

 

A one way shafting of a game - I made one mistake, and entire game the DE were Nuffle blessed at critical plays...wry smile.
Opponent feels differently.

I took a Re-Roll with 70k Inducements and 30k Treasury

Chaos Drive:
Slow grind forward, took off five Dark Elves KO'd, they did nothing.
But on mi T7 I made an error - a Cage corner with no Guard player - after doing it I looked at the screen in disbelief - one error...doH!
And it was punished - DE did everything - dodges into and out of TZ's a 1d Blitz, a pick up in a TZ, more dodges and GFIS and they got the ball into their own EZ. I managed a 1D blitz on their  all carrier....but despite a Team reroll did not floor him.
0-0

Dark Elf Drive: 9 Dark Elves v 11 Chaos.
They right hook advanced, made play after play and scored in three turns - like an Exhibition Match - they also BH Kirk BH, My SF, Block, Guard, MB Warrior. I had BH their Assassin

Chaos Drive: 11 Chaos v 1o DE: 
I slowly ground forward - but the DE made every play and BH my Best Warrior - Stewie - so I had to extend on T15.
No matter how many blocks I threw I was unable to take a DE off - they flattened my players (one Blitz a turn) with ease.
On T15 their 1d dodging blitz floored my ball-carrier, and they ten made every dodge and GFI to smother the ball with 3 payers  - meant i had 5 2d blocks to clear them - all failed - only pushes.... meant I had to a risk a play into and out of TZ's to pick up and score with a Team reroll in hand - and failed at the second 3+ roll.


A dire performance: and still rusty - I am making one mistake a game: and being severely Nuffle punished each time...yikes.
Relegation beckons - I will be ninth or tenth for the start of MD5.
Best I can achieve is mid-table obscurity, and that would avoid relegation.

Do or Die... 1-1 UnderForestWakers

 

A Home Draw.
Necromantic took A Wizard and a Babe.
Each Half favoured the Offensive Team.

 

Chaos Drive:

Everything went my way, nothing worked for the Necro.
I badly Hurt Three (Star Wolf and L3 Wight back though, the Kick Zombie failed his regeneration roll) with Crowd Surfs, and KO'd 5 in the all in Necromantic basing..
Formality TD on T8 when it was 11 Chaos v 3 Necromantic (only 2 Zombies and a Ghoul)

1-0

 

Necromantic Drive: 11 v 11, all their KO's back over two recovery stages.

Thus half every play was in favour of the Necromantic and they riped through my team - not witht he Wrwolves...with basic non-MB players...embarrassing for the home fans to watch. my BB caused one KO this half...on T15.

 

Lost Servalan IV dead, and three top players, all Badly Hurt - to one MB opponents..
The ST4, AG4 Ghoul scored a formality Blitz TD on T16 when my last ditch 1d Blitz did not get the pow I needed.

1-1

 

My team is firmly rooted to the bottom of the Division - will need 4 wins out of the four remaining matches to avoid relegation.

Team News:
Servalan IV, a Beastwoman, was killed (in only her third game!) in a Block by a Rookie Wight.
She was on 0 SPP's.

 

Skeletor II, a Beastman, levelled to earn his second skill, Mighty Blow.

 

Means my scouts are on the look-out for:

No. 13 Secret Squirrel V

No, 8 Servalan V
No. 15 Hong Kong Phooey III (a Minotaur)

 

Team is doing so disastrously as regards causing casualties on the pitch, I am going to go to a Roster of 15, with a Minotaur, after I have recruited two more Beastmen :).

 

Assuming no more deaths, I will have a Roster of 15 for next season :D.

Think I will try a 15-player roster, and go all out 4 Warriors, 10 Beastmen and a Minotaur...and let the opponent have a Wizard every game  - Nuffle can decide how well the Wizard does ;).

That is a efficient team, I faced one of those and it was quite tough, to face I mean.

Tried this as the 4 RR Team, the lean team, the Lucky ST level up team....
...for my Chaos nothing has worked...so now aiming to get the Minotaur and full squad :).
Never used a Minotaur competitively: use done once, in BBCE, for an Exhibition Match.

CD's took 2 Babes with their inducements.
 

Bleak House 0-1 Do or Die... 
My players outnumbered the Chaos Dwarfs for 12/16 turns, so a formality win
Suffered 2 Casualties and 1 KO, but caused 5 Casualties and 2 KO's and the CDs were nuffled with a self KO and my gangfouls causing another casualty.

Chaos Drive:
Grind forward and my players were able to score when it was 9 Chaos v 6 CD's

Chaos Dwarf Drive: 9 CD's v 11 Chaos.
My player smothered the CD's and stopped them scoring.

An away win.

Disciples of Death 0-2 Do or Die...

 

I took a Wandering Apothecary, who failed (or was it my regular...?!?1), and a Babe, who was not needed.
A very one sided game, in my favour, regarding removals, although a dire loss for me was my AG4 Beast dead apothecaried to death.

My Chaos Drive: 11 v 11.
Turn after turn plays went my way:

I lost a Warrior KO'd.
King Kill lost 1 Dead (Beastman) 2 BH (Beastman and Warrior) and 2 KO'd, Beastman and Minotaur, and crowd surf stunned one Warrior.
I ahem..messed up my advance, and needed 2+ Pick up, 2x2+GFI's 2+ pass, 2+catch to score. Tuco II was exceptional

0-1

 

Disciple T8 drive: 8 of them v 11 of mine in Sweltering Heat....my team survived the blocks.
Weather changed to nice.

 

Disciple Drive: 9 of them v 11 of mine:
They went for a left hook advance, killed Tuco II (one of my Apothecaries double killed him).
Managed to smother the opposing Chaos, get the ball, and scored - more removals this half, again in my favour.
I lost Stewie BH, Tuco II dead (Warrior and Beastman).
They lost Minotaur BH, Warrior Dead, Warrior BH, Beastman BH, Beastman KO'd.
So a formality TD for me when it was 4 of them versus 9 of mine. 
0-2.

King Kill took the one sided Nuffling with good sportsmanship.

Frank's Fowlers 2-1 Do or Die... 

One of those dire one-sided games, 14 turns favoured the Nurgle, two favoured me.
We smacked each other - they ripped through my team. I did sod all to them.
A dull mindless game, at least it only lasted around 70 minutes.

My babe failed, he recovered both KO's.

Played T2 to T16 outnumbered by 1 to 4 players...yikes.
A T15 one in twelve play got me a consolation TD.

They suffered more through a failed dodge (death regenerated) than I could cause all game.
They killed one (Apothecaried to Reserves), MNG'd One Badly Burt 3, and KO'd three.
I caused....2 KO's.
