What is the Pidpad Challenge?

Basically. Play 50 games with one team without restarting, conceding or other such things.

Then do that for every race there is.

It's not about results or actually finishing it. It's all about the journey. I can guarantee that you'll be a better blood bowl player after doing it. (you'll have played over 1000 games, if that doesn't make you better I dunno what does).

Why would someone ever think of doing something like this?

Well, it was just after Dark Elves got released for BB1 (yes, that long ago) and I conceded my one and only game ever (in Matchmaking) and I felt bad enough about it (3 dead, 1 crippled by turn 4, so obviously not a keeper team) to find a reason to play matchmaking.

So I figured, what if I play 50 games with a team of each race? (only 9 races back then, mind)

Why 50? No idea. Seemed reasonable. I would however make one change now and that's 42 games (champion ladder ranking reasons).

 

Do you have to do it the same way? No. 

Some people did 20 games. Some people only did some select races. It doesn't matter, as long as blood bowl is played.

The challenge is there to give some meaning to the MM games, be that in the open or champion ladders or do I dare suggest the Orca Cola Brawl.

Keep in mind though, they all reset which puts a spanner in the works to reach 50 games.

Is it 42 Games if playing in CCL...and 50 game in COL?
..0.or to do it properly is it 50 games per race with the same team no matter what?

it only counts in the brawl

no but there isnt any real rules. the point of this was to play more games, or rather having a reason to play more games. as long as you thinks its fun just go!

Thanks for the clarification :).
In the odd spare hour will try the Challenge again..if I had done it continuously (in spare moments) over the last two years I could have got five races completed by now...
...will just have to see how far I get before BB3 comes out and is moved across to.

It truly isn't, unless you just happen to play some teams for long and register them here. Just 2 seasons and 5 matches more for my OCC team and I have several other slow burn teams elsewhere.
