1500 orcs vs 1750 nurgle.

Went about as good as you'd expect.

Lost 2-0 and my most common block dice result was skull (11 out of 37, compared to 8 push for example).

The last black orc made a pass so now all of them got block at least, oh and another black orc got a cas as well.

Injuries? 1 saved from death and 1 mng, so the team got better.

Next game: 2-1 vs Mysticjon's skaven. A timely (and well aimed) pitch invasion stopped his one turn attempt (he still found a way to try though, but couldn't make the million extra rolls that was needed).

In other news: Black orc causes casuality and gets Guard.

It is pretty impressive that you can score so much with some ag2 mv4 guys... :Bananas:

Will you consider taking mv or ag on a bob if the chance occurs?

1-1 vs Kislev. A game I should easily have won, but it wasn't to be. I quad skull instead of surf his ball carrier. He double pow's on a 2d uphill block and other such fun things.

The black orcs actually got a casuality.

Played an undead team in what can only be described as a skull-o-rama.

Both of us rolled an abnormal amount of skulls.

Comparison: He had 20 skulls and 30 pushes (the other results ranging around 11-13) while I had 22 skulls, 25 pushes, 21 defender stumbles 11 pows 12 both down.

I did win 2-1 though so it's all good.

Orcs again and what's looking to be their next to last game (they'll reach 25 after next game and that seems like a good place for them to end, I wont have time to make the effort to break into the top of the orc standings).

Pupok and his currently ranked 4 (among chaos) chaos team. Full of nasty claws and other silly things.

The first half starts off brilliantly with me causing no damage to his fodder and then the troll blitzing, double skulling and casualitying himself (he did regen). The rest of the half was a travesty. So he scored.

The 2nd half I actually knock over (and out) some beasts and by some miracle manage a 3 (combined) gfi, long bomb play to tie the game on T16.

Orcs are done after a final 2-1 win vs dwarfs.

Heroics on T8 won the game. Long bomb.

To get into a play-off spot I'd need 6 straight wins, which could be doable, but my work schedule doesn't really allow for it.

Out of all the top orc teams my team has had the least teams concede to them.

Could of course be because they managed a whopping 38 cas from 25 games (took 28).

38-18 for TDs and a final record of 15-8-2. Too many draws is my verdict :P

I did count up the casualities by the black orcs, they finished at 12 with a hefty effort in the last few games.

I might get a game or two of goblins in though, so there's that!

Currently fairly displeased with the match making algorithm. I manage to draw the top ranked team with 13 games played with my crippled high elves of TV 1020 (with the loner). It went about as well as you could expect. I'm going to restart as I sort of want a shot of qualifying as well and that's not happening with a team with a dead blitzer and a record of 0-1-1.

After yet another crippling start (yes yes, technically cheating I know) I'm now on to team 3.

This time I've opted for an all Av8 build with an apo. It's considerably weaker than starting with 2 blitzers, 1 thrower, 2 catchers but just maybe I might be able to keep the positionals alive for a bit. As a matter of fact the apo did turn a -St on a blitzer into mng, so we're already off to a better start (we did also win the first game).

Just finished another game with the high elves.

3-3 vs some skaven.

I get silly lucky and score a 2 turn defensive touchdown in the first half and then a quick score to go 3-1 up around T11.

He scores back in short order then it starts to rain. 4 failed pickups in a row (combined with some juicy double-skullery) means he can nab the ball and score. 3-3

Fair I guess.

3 linemen get a skillup. All three roll 10 (only one double).

So, Block, Wrestle and Guard

Two more games of High Elfing.

First, chaos dwarfs. 2 casualities taken by turn 3.

Solution? Abandon defense and foul things (ineffective). That did however lure some bull centaurs to the sideline. Both got surfed on the same turn. One got -ag and the other nothing.

So he scores on T8. My catcher stays ko'd. One turner too tricky without a re-roll, so I opt to level my thrower instead (leader).

For the 2nd half I'm actually outnumbering them and I score fairly quickly.

I get massive pressure on them but in the end an unlucky bounce to an already moved player on T16 stops me from winning.

Second, ogres without re-rolls.

Easy peasy you think? Wrong. The only time in the match where they actually needed a re-roll was when they needed to blitz their ball carrier free and gfi to score. I had fame, so him having a re-roll was somewhat unlikely.

Second half is me having relentless pressure on him (he did pickup the ball again with an ogre, but then that ogre refused to move for two turns) and in the end I needed 3+, 3+, 4+ (with pass) 2+ to win. I fail the 2nd 3+. Bah.

So two draws. I am skilling players though, so there's that.
