[Rage] Quit while you're ahead

So a good few weeks ago, before I signed up with the OCC, I was playing in the Concede Open League that Cyanide kindly provides. I'm waiting for the CCL to start a fresh season. That, plus league games should be plenty.

 

Anyway, I did play one really good game in it, even though in the first three turns, two of my players were killed. It happens. Play on. 

 

So, yesterday in need of a quick game [and in an attempt to rid me of some bad dice ju-ju], I went back to the COL and rolled a new Orc team. My opponent was a higher TV Norse team. They go one up quickly. I sacked his ball carrier but the ball popped up in front of another runner who dodged free.

 

So now I have four turns to score and on my drive I KO and BH a total of 3 players. He concedes, saying that he can no longer win 3 men down, even though his KO is possibly returning for the second half.

 

I was [almost] certainly going to score but who concedes when they are actually winning?

Are you seriously expecting rational behaviour from a typical COL player?

To describe such person I should use long sentence with only swear words. Looong centence.

Nope. But just had a quick game on COL, with a guy who played on as Woodies, even when he only had 3 players left on the pitch and I was stalling.

Other coaches concede. Nobody likes those coaches.
