Winter Cup - don't miss the fun!

Hi guys!

 

I'd like to invite you to the tournament in Warsaw, Poland which takes place in 3 weeks from now! We have nearly 80 coaches registered so far. Don't miss the BB fun! It's one of the biggest tabletop tournaments in this part of Europe!

You can get here with public Bus (ZTM) to bus stop DKS Targówek 01/02. Bus numbers 156, 160 (from Central Station), 162, 212, 256, 517 (from Central Station), N02, N62.

At the restaurant You'll be able to choose from several types of food including fastfood like burgers or sandwiches to more complex like dinner (shnitzel with potatoes and salad) from 6 to 20 zł (1,5-5EUR)
There will be also option to drink some beer (5zł/1,5EUR+). restaurant dont provide high percentage alcohols but you can bring them with You and it will be fine for them.

HOW TO SIGNUP:
NORMAL: 50 PLN + 20PLN NAF (15EUR+5 EUR only banknotes or money transfer) if you have NAF number and paid Membership you dont have to pay one more time.

WITH SATURDAY DINNER: 65 PLN (20EUR you'll get also one drink) for full dinner (soup+main course)

We want to beat last year frequency and we will expect 100 players. That's why everyone who will bring NEW player on our Tournament (player who didnt play in any 2 day polish tournament) will get two vouchers for free beer, so You'll be able to celebrate with us

RULES:

BECAUSE THIS TOURNAMENT WILL CANDIDATE TO MASTER RANGE IN 2019 
YOUR TEAM HAVE TO BE FULLY PAINTED AND ALL BASES SHOULD BE DONE!

We're using WORLD CUP 2019 rules:
BB2016, DZ1, DZ2 + NAF with the following changes :
- Human catchers are 60k.
- Halfling Treemen gain the Timmmber skill.
- Chaos Pact can have a lineman orc.
- Goblin team can have the Doom diver and the Ooligan.
- A Head Coach can ‘Argue the Call’ on a sending off.

TIER LIST

In order to reduce the unbalancing between the different races the World Cup will be divide the races into 4 tiers:
Tier 1: Amazons, Bretonnians, Chaos Dwarves, Dark Elves, Dwarves, Lizardmen, Norse, Orcs, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elves
Tier 2: Chaos Renegades, Elf Union, High Elves, Humans, Khemri, Necromantic, Simians
Tier 3: Daemons of Khorne, Chaos, Nurgle’s Rotters, Slann, Underworld Denizens, Vampires
Tier 4: Goblins, Halflings, Ogres

Teams at the Winter Cup will be built and will gain improvements (additional skills or stat upgrades) according to their placement in the tier system above. The composition of all teams and all improvements to be taken must be submitted before the tournament.

TEAM CREATION

Coaches must spend a minimum of 1,100,000 gold pieces when building their team. When building your team, you may buy:

At least 11 standard roster players before any star player
0-8 Re-Rolls, Assistant coaches, Cheerleaders
0-1 Apothecary or Igor, depending on race
0-9 Fan Factor
Inducements. The cost will be as following and will count for all 9 games:
0-2 Bloodweiser Kegs for each 50,000 gp
0-3 Bribes for each 100,000 gp, for Goblins only for each 50,000 gp
0-1 Masterchef for 300,000 gp, for Halflings only 100,000 gp
0-2 NAF-approved star players for their regular cost
Wizards, (in)famous coaching staff and/or Special Play Cards are explicitly not allowed at the World Cup

ADDITIONAL CASH:
Each team receives additional funding based on their tier. Starting cash can be used for team building (as above) or used to buy skills or a mixture of both. Cash for games 2 and 3 as well as for games 4 and 5 can only be spent on skills in advance of those games.

A ‘normal’ skill costs 20 kgp
A ‘double’ skill costs 30 kgp
Tiers 1-3 are limited to one double skill during the tournament
Tier 4 may have more than one double skill
Your roster can have one player that has two additional skills. Both skills must be normal skills and the second skill has a cost of 30,000 gold pieces. These skills can be added at different times in the event.
Tier 4 may buy a single stat upgrade. This cannot be combined with any other additional skill.
+ MA / AV costs 40,000 gold pieces,
+ AG 50,000 gold pieces and
+ ST 60,000 gold pieces.
Star players may not receive additional skills or stat upgrades
All gold left unspent each day is lost, and does not carry over to subsequent days. If you choose to not spend all of your gold, the organizing committee thanks you for your contribution to our bar tab!

TOURNAMENT POINTS: 

Win: 5 points
Draw: 2 points
Loss by one touchdown: 1 point
Loss by more than one touchdown: 0 point
Concede: -5 points

If your match is behind schedule a referee may ask you to hurry up in order to finish in time. If you are unable to finish the referee may stop the game prematurely. In all cases a referee’s decision is final.

At the end of tournament if we have draw in big points then:

- direct game between players
- sort by sum of opponents' points
- then by TD net score (TD scored - TD against)
- then by Cas net score (Cas inflicted - Cas received)
- who win fight in pool filled with snow.

1st- place - Tournament Cup + special prize for 1st place + you'll be able to choose prizes from prize pool 
2nd- place - Special prize for 2nd place + you'll be able to choose prizes from prize pool
3rd- place - Special prize for 3rd place + you'll be able to choose prizes from prize pool
next places - draft from prize pool

Stunty Cup - Special prize for stunty cup + you'll be able to choose prizes from prize pool (there have to be at least 5 stunty players)

Best defence (the player with the least number of missed touchdowns) - special prize
Dirty player (Definitely not the one who has not washed his ass for the longest time;) It's about the player with the most KO and injures made by fouls) - special prize
Best scorer (player with the highest number of touchdowns) - special prize
Biggest bastard (player with the highest number of scored injuries on his opponents) - special prize
MVP (The player with the most fair play votes cast by opponents) - special prize

Special prize for best NEW player.

Special prize for best painted blood bowl team.

Special prize for last player.

Each participant will receive a starter pack and a memorial of participation in the tournament.
