New Team, New deaths, Opportunities but also, New Skills to be received rolled and lost.

 

Team Topic, 

Pro Elfs.

Coming from Vampire I needed some agility, and not past winners.

Else W-Elf would be very interesting.

So, Thrall looking AV7, on most positions.

So how do I protect the Lino's.

#5 Luxury - Do not need to plan here at this level

To be honest with all the Bashers around Dodge is the prime skill on all positions but Blitzer.

 

Anyhow, not as fancy as my vamp page, so we need a different style.

I started with Pro Elves this season too.

For Linos, I will be going Wrestle, Dodge, Fend... And I think even the 3rd skill is a pure survival fantasy :D

At some point early I'll get a Block/Kick, and some point next season will start thinking about a DP.

Elfs had 10 Nurgle had 9 starting rosters. Extra henchmen were added.

 

In Game: 2 Blitzers on kick off for us, because we score! Or?

Another 2 BH on Lino, Catcher spend entire game KO'd after turn 1.

No Apo used, Norse received, tugged to the line.

In the end we got the ball, 0-0

2nd Half, we score quickly and steals the ball scores again.

In Game: Elfs dmg those orcs and played like elfs.

Niggling the MB blitzer, apo failed.

Up 2-0 after first half. 

Orc failed block with BlockORc, sorry Black orc.

Rushed forward, stole the ball and scored 3-0.

Orc Failed pickup with Thrower, failed Dodge the next turn, with RR. 4-0.

 

A Bad Orc day and a Good Elf day.

 

Post Game: 

Winning 6 of course. FF gained.

Gained 5 Skills:

2 Blizters, 2 Lino and Passer

All Normal, nothing strange here.

Picked Dodge on all but Passer who gained Accuracy.

In Game

I had a great chance getting that ball, but some how I just managed to get mangles and grinded down.

Rip on Catcher with dodge, apo failed.

Somehow time run out and that freed up some movements and I could first then steal the ball Up 1-0 after first half. 

Received Blitz and was totally surrounded. 

Some how I could pop the ball and throw it way back, and we were 6 elfs at one side and the rest on the other.

Fouling Elfs could be the sounds track.

 

I also Gained a niggles.

Another Lino went MNG.

 

Post Game:

In Game

Tricky game as always vs Liz, could have stalled a bit more but enough is enough.

1-0 in turn 4, I think is was.

Tried new LOS, all with Lino with Dodge as Only one block was existing.

All was powed, all remained.

Tricky part, hunting his ag4 skink.

Managed at last after some -2d blocking and some 3+ dodging.

Could only secure 1-0.

 

Second half with ag4 out, sure hand skink failed pickup, swarmed the ball. 

Then all went crazy for Liz, Krox went ko'd on a bothdown blitz.

Next saurus went ko'd, I failed to get the ball.

Skink went flying away with the ball, looked like a draw....until GFI failed and ko'd him.

Still could not secure ball, and skink went with it again, running down towards TD.

Blitzer blitzed, rolled Block after again some 3+ dodge and ko'd him & got the ball on the bounce.

That was more or less game, 2-0.

 

Got Blodge Catcher MNG on T8 foul, saved the apo for worse, which never came.

 

Post Game: 

Winning 4  no RR, FF gained.

In Game

I today show Elrond, he is an Half Elf.

In this game we won half each.

But we lost our first game.

And by turn 4 we have had 4 1,1 rolls.

I played a bit reckless, I might say. 

But for sure I did not expect that bad dice.

So, I take that with me. No need to play risky when we do not need to.

 

Alright, it started with a move up on Orc Defense zone, trying to get high up as all orcs was quite near the LOS.

And I gave the ball as it was kicked far off, to the 15spp Lino. 

Who should just move up pass and make a catcher catch, but he rolls 1,1 on the pass.

Eating up a RR and the bounce could have been worse and it could have been much better.

Anyhow, Orcs ag4 moves in and grabs it in 1 TZ, dodge away and I then fail dodges and TO.

Which makes the Orcs to move up and cover up quite good. 

1-0 the turn after as another failed dodge made it way to easy.

One Black Orc gets removed with a rock, and it looks better. 

Catcher receives and I use the open space to make an opening, trying to get a zone behind Orcs to get 1-1 fast..

This is my drive btw.

And Double skulls forces a RR, my last.

And a new 1,1 on dodge means my catcher is in the open, and loses the ball and is KO'd.

two turns later and it's 2-0, after some dodges 3+ and catches 3+.

 

So. two turns left to get one back, but catch is failed and my catcher was still ko'd.

Still only need to get the ball and get m,y blitzer free to run down the 2-1. But now, we cannot block either and where I need arrow.

Bothdown ends and 2-0 to the Orcs first half.

 

This is now Orc drive, nothing wrong here, I tried to get some space open but no, and orcs move up and I'm 3-0 down.

I score quickly after and after a failed catch I can get back to 3-2.

Turn 15 so I need a blitz, but I do not get it.

First loss and I did not lose any player.

So, ok not the best game I have done and I take the learning with me.

It's all fun and games until you lose all your players. Congrats on the good season, and good luck with those skill rolls.

 

I started by putting dodge on my linemen, then changed to putting block on them first. They still died regardless.

I'll go for dodge anyhow. 

Reason is the killer teams has less tackle.

Still 2 rolls /dice that takes them down but with dodge there is al least a rr free getting away.

 

Killers with tackle is of course worse but its the numbers I would like to minimise. 

Then kick and DP but I see that used rare and dodge used all the time. 

At least I will get them faster than I would have If I got something else than vanilla all the time.

Facing a really nice team, two strength one on Saurus and one on skink.

Some Guard, one move 10 skink with blodge, one Skink with sure hands.

11 players that turned to 12 just before the game

 

In Game

I today show Galadriel when she fixes the mirror.

I do not think she saw what happened in this game.

Let me tell ya, it was a strange game from turn 1

 

I won the toss, and selected to receive. 

The plan was of course to go deep stall if I could and score eventually.

And then starve the turns left, not easy but hey, there was a plan.

So I'm a rookie with elfs, so  I setup somehow for a blitz which came.

And the ball was kicked very deep so no way even the fastest skink on the planet could get it.

But the invasion was there, a nice setup and all in. 

As in only a few dudes on the LOS the rest was in my zone.

 

So I got the ball, passed a risky pass and all went well.

Handed the pigskin to our new catcher, no problem there, slip when dodging away from the mental brutal Saurus with MB (who today scored like 4 cas). But the Dodge skill payed off.

I did not dare to take that GFI, as I more or less needed two.

The catchers has no nerves but I do.

 

The next risky dodge to get him safe, was 3+ 2+, which failed as the idiotic AI decided to make a even more troublesome dodge to 5+, but I rolled 2+ 2+ anyhow. Failed and blitz and Pow was there as it was ordered.

The ball bounced nicely and the pickup was no problem. 

Ok, big problems as  I already in turn two had 1 cas (on the first blitz) and two koed.

So I was down in numbers and there was no way to stop IT.

I decided to take a chance and fouled the little sure hands skink who failed my blitz, but stayed. 

So the foul hit hard and a cas was collected. It showed later that this was the only cas I scored during the entire game.

Elf name we are true to.

 

I was then bashed out and 4 koed and 2 cassed. 

Still had that Wiz, and I saw the opening, and took it.

Fireball got the two I could get, ball handler was ko'd and saurus was downed.

The problem was that the bounce was not that good. 

And I was down in numbers. 

So, 1d vs unskilled Saurus and arrows was not that good.

So I decided to dodge with dodgy elf in contact with Krox. 

3+ with rr failed badly and my biggest chance to get 1 ahead was failed miserably.

So it was time to scope up the ball and turn that cage on which Lizards are masters on. 

 

I was out of options and decided the impossible.

Dive in on the skink with the ball, only with dodge as insurance.

And we made it. 2D was made and down he went, only to be captured by Str3 skink. Doh!

So, some elfs was pushed here and there, and a 3d roll without block on the str sarus failed, and there was a new chance to get the ball.

But with str 3, it was not that easy. Well Guarded there was only good way to get that 1d. 

I did not have block but pow was rolled, and the ball were bounced free.

A line could get out of krix, get the ball, and with RR pass a long pass down the field, which was the thing that saved first half.

 

0-0

 

Second half, wiz burned I got all but one back, the 10 move skink stayed.

Quite forward plan, I had a counter plan, which was quite week and rolled 1,1 on the first dodge and was out of luck.

Which then turned the turn after where I stretched the movement and got a 1d on the str3 skink, and got the pow again (I also had tackle this time but).

The pigskin the flew to the center of the field and I could get a elf away for receiving the throw...

And the catcher rose dodges away, got the ball, failed the only GFI I intended to do, I now knew the pass would fail me also.

But it did not, as I failed the RR for the first GFI with RR, so. No pass was made.

Skinks go that skin back and put up some defense but there was a 2d block/blitz possible, and it was made but it cost a RR.

I the made three GFI, so a dodge lino could get the ball, and our blitzer was beside him. 

He went down and the ball bounced good from elven eyes view.

Then the Krox failed a block, and the blitzer could the scoop up the ball and with some protection, the 1-0 was made with 1 turn left for the Liz.

And the Speedy Gecko got out from Ko, not OK!!!

But the pitch was invaded and the push was a both down, so no side step was possible.

The game ended with me failing a GFI with RR to blitz, to make a pass spp.

Nothing was against you, all focus was on Nuffle. 

Well played, you have that awesome team, will probably face you again and lose hard in the seasons to come.

was one hell of a strange game. I feel like i should ahve won that game but ended up doing some stupid moves especially that one block to get your blitzer in range for double gfi 1d second half and well that Turn 7 where i wanted to score but ended with double skulls into 3d fail realy got me....

Very well played and a deserved win on your part and a deserved loss on mine

Pre-Game:  Home Stadium, nothing extra. 

Inducement: To him 130k, buned 20 to aford a wiz.

 

Facing a really nice extreme team, two strength on two Goats, amazing I just fazed a team with 2 strength boost.

Two Block Tackle, could be really anoying.

But overall it felt like Taiwan faced China. 

 

In Game: 

I faced chaos and chaos it was.

I received, @Aeric Lionheart setup was quite good.

No opening for me weak str 3.

No double so, no Guard for ME!

 

Circled around and trying to get a spot, moved here and there, and finally I saw one opportunity and took it.

Well, it was not the best, but a 3+ dodge and GFI for blitz with tackle... yes those guys.

And he banged him good, and covered up quit nice. Not easy at all.

I tried to not risk failing so I pushed and also covered the ball.

 

But Chaos did better, some did not need tackle, they got the poor elf down anyway.

 

So what do you do, forced to try the impossible, well not impossible but Hard.

And boy was I rewarded, I pushed one guy away from the ball, and then... drum drum

Dodged, and moved in to the ball, I had my re-roll ready.

The animation picked up the ball 4+.. was waiting for the drop, it did not happened.

Dodged away from the tackler, no falling.. Hmm...

Dodged 3+ our but still in to CW zone, no request for RR.

Dodged out from TZ to clean spot, dodged used... whow!

Two GFI to touch down... looong way.

But no RR was used, totally inzane.

But 1-0,

The chaos winds was tainted with Elf spirits.

 

2 Injured, still meant 11-11.

4 Turns to equalize.

 

The Pro-dudes took the chaos by surprise blitzed directly on the kick off.

Could not reach teh ball, but at least moved a head, up toward the ball with the team that could.

Left some for defense.

The move forward did go as the chaotic minds plan.

Hand over, cageisch.. just it was tight so I did have one elf in contact.

Looked quite ok defense wise anyhow.

But time was running out, two turn left, meaning positioning was vital.

A CW was in scoring range and free to receive the ball.

Just in case.

 

I moved up trying to bend open the cage, but double arrow did not help.

So I tried faith, and went for 2d against. 

Chaos is chaos and selected arrow instead of bothdown. 

Which was my small hope, and I could then 1d with Wrestle.. and got him down with just that.

And the bounce was landing in the arms of a lino, an elven lino

He had moved so he stayed there.

 

The ball was instangrounded. 

And the bounce was in chaos favor.

Just on the wrong side... not many in reach but good defense was setup.

3 TZ on the ball, the best shot I had was to chain push someone on the ball.

So I did that with 1d and got a bounce to a better position, still two dudes covering it.

And with more or less one lino, just beside downed with dodge, I did again the one thing I could do.

Dodged into Two Zones.

Got the ball, but failed the pickup... Team RR on that... worked!!

2+ out with dodge, worked.

And now the hard thing, a Long pass, and a catch.. but made them both.

2-0

 

I now had 4 Cas. 

10 vs 11

As I do not Cas av8.. nono.

 

A 1 TTD was setup, but failed when bothdown came up.

 

1st half 2-0

 

10 vs 11

Apo Burned for elfs, not even close for chaos.

 

Some nice blocking on KO, and good setup, RR burned on picking up the ball.

Will that matter or not?

Some defense setup by me and some pushes.

 

And so the chaos Scrum began. 

Chain movement was nice here by both, and at some point I could pop the ball.

In this mess, not one dared to get the ball, it was so crowded.

But time went on as it does.

 

At turn turn 13 the ball was picked up by chaos, and after some struggle including getting helped with Wiz, there was a path free to make the releasing goal to 2-1.

But that was it.

 

A game where I was forced for some elf tactics, and made it.

Thanks for the game.

Good luck with that team but I'm not looking forward to a re-match here.

Pre-Game:  Away Stadium, some boost, Magic Dome. 

Inducement: To him 120k, Bribe was picked never used.

 

Facing a Undead, has seen some dmg before, no tackle, nice ghouls, one Strength and Guard dude, one sure hands.

But it looked like a possible win here. 

 

In Game: 

I faced undead but boy was there dmg in this game..

I received, apparently undead wished that as I did not win the toss. 

No opening for me weak str 3, tried my best with a little push, but no, I needed more did not get it.

So we took it slow.

 

Nice movement but I saw a possible opening and took it.

Run deep away and got some protection, 1 d was possible vs my blodge but no tackle and two GFI was more or less needed.

He did not take the bait but surfed a little elf instead, InstaCas.. I saw him, darn Goat by the side.

It was not without weapon, I saw the club, FFS Guards, search the F***kin* crowd next time!

Why do they bring a weapon to this civil game, HUH!

 

Anyhow, That bad mummy smelled blood and bang my sweet wrodgey elf was crippled!

Apo, fix him up please we are in Round two, crying out loud.

But no, it was more than the apo could handle... Sigh.

 

I decided to stall a bit, is the dead was down in my zone, but soon they were ontop.

I thought to surf that badAs ghoul, just to serve the crowd as it was served before.

And I saw what they did, keep me awake sometimes, it was awful. 

The ghoul no matter how strong, did not survive and at that point I understood and saw the greed in the eyes all over the place.

They wanted blood like nothing else... Yikes!

 

So we scored, 1-0.

Two guys out, and ghouls had hard time also.

I managed to get the ball, rushing down looking like a 2-0 could be possible, but they ko'd my blodger, and got the protected theball...

So I pushed them out, and got the ball again, and again looking like a 2-0 was manageable.

But the 1d blitz was there, on my blodger, and with a RR out he went... On a stretcher!

MNG, and then there was more.

So I got the ball out again, but it bounced so bad, I could not get it. And neither could the undead. 

Some nice play from @unglaublicher to keep it to 1-0 for the team IKEA.

 

Second half, and it was 10 vs 10, some fouls was made, but the Ref Naah some contact is allowed, did not bother.

And again I got the ghoul ko'd and again they got is back, and we were 8 vs 8, only two wights who had more than ag2.

 

So the ball was on the side line now, covered by a SF mummy. And I was aiming to coer the ball and trying to get it, but the tripping skills from the mummy was a bit unexpected and my nice blitzer fell like from heaven and was stunned.

Undead then made some nice move ending with a foul and then we were 7.

7 small elves battled hard and went for a push to get the ball lose, but both down was not good but that was what I had to chose.

A foul on him later made him leave the pitch, and we were only six,

6 Little elves looked as the dodgy Wight secured the ball, the Mummy moved as he was alive, made a blitz and we were only five.

5 Little Elves was feeling all alone and sore, pushed some zombies around, and the undead was getting ready to score.

5 little elves had one last chance to defend, but the dodge Wight was feeling really good and walking in 1-1 in the end.

 

Last turn our rookie lino was looking forward for a star player point and went for a try, but our catcher was acting as he was fixing his joint and rolled a double snake eye.

 

First draw for the team, and it had a lot.

Especially dmg, as we are actually missing 4 players for the next game.

Well, I'm not that unhappy with the tactics, I would probably done some different actions the first turns, but after that.. not much to change.

I still feel a bit crippled by all he normal skills, as a guard here or agility there would o course change much.

But I have a plan now that will cover that somehow, not totally but.. some mitigations are needed that's for sure.

Don't worry, i have rolled all your doubles!

 

I looked at your latest match stats and i feel sadness and joy same time. Joy for all the casualties, but sad when i realized that they come back on MD5 when we face.

 

And i wouldnt be suprised if you'd roll amazing levelups just before our match!

 

Good luck against Brets, there are so many dirty players that Vanilla flavour won't fresh em enough.

Well, let see how and what shape or shade we are in for md5.

You face the insane "Ihavecrackedtheskillrollfoundation" and have limited my self to 3 strength rolls so it is not to obvious Liz.

Let's see how he catches your long legs.

Regarding Brets, more tuned to kills than chaos, lets see how he like the vanilla taste.

Pre-Game:  Home Stadium, Leveled up the stadium, but not sure what to pick. 

Inducement: To him 170k, Bribe was picked used on first foul and a babe, continuously used..

 

Facing a Bret's who wins by removing opponents and a we are better that orc's and Chaos combined at this.

And the strategy was quite clear and nothing hidden.

It's just it was this effective as it was, nuffle clearly abandon the poor elf team. 

 

In Game: 

So, as we were about to be handled like savages, with all dirty tricks supporting the Bret plan.

I decided to get that Bribe to avenge our own.

One Loner was perfect for this, was the idea. 

Which never worked of course.

 

I lost the toss and apparently Bret wished to kick, to my surprise but ok, that was fine. 

So I bashed some poor Linemen who has the same armour value.. but no not really in this game.

 

Getting some support to bash a blitzer, main threat hear this game. Loaded with MB and tackle, it was not fun to see them at all.

And double 1 on the first dodge attempt.. ment... NOOOO!

 

So, some bashing, but nothing removed... Until a foul without support strike home and they are clearly pro's.

I though we were the pro's but no, when you see a real pro, you know.

That foot just went up in a nasty missing the game but will be back for the next one.

So, blocking out some linemen but, both down made us to be forced to re roll that. 

Made it, but there were lot of things to do which then require dice rolls with out RR.

Quite a lot was made including getting the ball.

But failed when we were aiming to get that Bribe used.

Thinking of it, it should be quite safe, fouling away the entire game, as I never roll any double anyhow...right?

  

So, some good movement, and that is not so hard, sitting on Guard and Strength against my vanilla elf-team.

I mean, there are worse opponents.

 

So, some struggle, managed to fell the blitzer without tackle, but still went for the foul and BH. 

And spotted, BOY are we bad at this.

Well bribe used, did not expect it to work, but Ref rubbed his hand and took the purse.

 

One less blizer, quite ok. Long way to go.

 

As I sacrificed the thrower with the ball in order to get some assistance to get those 2d blocks away, it was not that hard to get him down, the bounce was more or less a handover to our catcher (the only one as his brother was away licking his wounds from last game)

 

The big bad blitzer with piling on, was the target as he was down, and went in for a foul, did not really care, he had to leave the pitch.

But no, just a stunned result.

 

With a cool chainpush @Tontza saves his precious Blitzer from further fouling activities.

And The ref is now quite disappointed on the Lino who fouls all targets and there is a selection of them every turn, ending with a Redcard. One less fouler and not even a ko. Amazing is it turning now?

 

Having to retreat turn after turn we are now in the middle of the own defense zone, but decided to take a break and run for it.

Protecting the catcher with the ball, the lino is removed by the blitz, and he is almost surrounded also, there is also a tackler sitting on his face, well safe zone at least. 

I was attempted to scream COVID ZONE, keep DISTANCE. But my voice was drowned in the overpowering shouts by the crowd.

So he went for it, made the dodge, and two GFI, I really must push it, else I'm over thrown anyhow.

 

Putting up some defense making at least 3+ dodge and 2 GFI to reach me.

But I was really under pressure and  at the same time, the Brets was also under the same pressure as catcher was close enough to score. 

And we were already in Turn6.

The blitzer made the first dodge as I tagged him with another lino. And he made the second 3+ dodge without a flinch.

But the GFI, was stretching it and all the training made up for it, the second GFI went well and 1d was a push, and a follow up.

 

Turn 7, without my own RR's, and facing a tackler, I made all moves I could preparing the failed dodge.

And of course, a 1 was rolled.

Even the bounce was wrong, as I had two elfs standing read for the bounce towards me it went to a clean space.

 

So the little Elf deep inside the Bret blitzer, got the ball, made the pass and suddenly the ball was back in my defense zone, but now in the hands of a traitor elf, who just got the ball as it was an ice cream in i sunny day.

 

Not much I could do, but hunted the little one with the ball, I was never close, and 1 - 0  but, the Bret did the things they are best on before. And removed 3 players.

 

So second half, 7 vs 10.

Was made 6 after first block.

5 after the next round, I did try to drop a foot at the killer, but failed all attempts and the scrum began, with the elfs in the middle.

Not ideal, and we went from 5 to 4 as the red card was shown. 

 

Apparently it was ok to foul the elfs, and we went down to 3.

3 little elfs did not have much to do, but was spotted by the ref and then we were only two.

 

The scrum continued and we were two, some turns more.

2 Little elfs was pinned in the scrum, one piling on later and we were only one..

 

It was not we could do.

1 little elf made heard the Ref whistle and saw the Bret who won, and then there were none.

A peaceful game, with little dmg, finally. The Jumping Humies jumped a lot but at least did not land on us.

Pre-Game:  Away Stadium, nothing extra from that one.

Inducement: 90k for me, Bribe was picked used on first foul .

Hardly any value on that, on the other side And apo or two babes would not have been any bigger change.

 

Facing a Kislev with agility boosted humies and long legged persona. It was looking a bit challenging as they have guard and jump up as natural, and all diving tackles.

Could be tricky so I favored my self with a bribe to perhaps helping the long legged to stay out.

 

I also bought a new Catcher, as I had some sitting out this game.

 

In Game: 

So, we won the toss, I do as I always do, receive.

The plan was settled when I saw the kissing elfs.. no not kisself, Kislev!

Spreading out and they annoying blitzer was a prime target to get down and away, with a boot if needed. The plan was not really executed as the ball went way down and I had to setup for some kind of challenge or threat to score also.

 

So when the other blitzer came flying in on the long legs he fell, and all the training in the team could not help him, down he went.

Turn over it was.

 

So, I was not really sure how to get the best out of this but I saw the path went for it, was forced to use our training on some blocking activity as we are elfs they is not our strong side... at least this far, turn 2.

So I was a bit got daim it!

Decided to take that kick before we fail the catch.

Double double of course, ref showed me the red side of his card, I showed the purse, the ref smiled and I could continue.

 

But the passing went fine risky 2+ was made on the catch, the handover to catcher went fine, but used catch as one 1 was rolled.

So I just kept my breath and went for the GFI, and with normal leg size, 1-0 was made. 

 

Then a really fun first half continued, and there was some nice movement done by @Ratamo. I hunted the ball, but I was down in numbers as the bear smelled some blood and there was some surfing activity made. 

So it was tricky to get where I wanted and the diving tackle was all over the place.

In the end i popped the ball but double skulls chewed my training (re-rolls of course) away and I was forced to play the last turn with Zero of that kind.

 

Not that far fetched to scoop up the ball but nah, the agile humans grabbed the longer straw and settled 1-1.

 

Anyhow, second half, and I we stayed on the pitch LOS wise.

Some cage was formed and the training kept the catcher with super extra long legs to manage the ball handling and the cage was formed.

 

I could the ko a blitzer and was one dude up, until we decide to doge that bear.

And yes the bears chain fell my lino and he died, but the apo could actually patch him up.

So, that was there rest of the time, playing av7 with no apo backing up is always a bit Yikesy.

 

Anyhow,  the cage "moved" forward and I saw an opening and a possible way to pop the ball.

So we took action on that and the ball was popped, and my second blitzer could also get the ball as the bounce was friendly. 

 

As it took some player to pop the bal, I was almost done, and tried a 1d block, both down. But that actually removed the Guarding Kislev, a nice bonus which was not expected. And my lino stayed, that's a change.

 

So, leaping time as Kislev was a bit cut off, but of course some leaps later and yes 2d block on my Ballkeeping blitzer went down with wrestle but, it cost a rr.

The bounce was once again very friendly to the team that popped the ball and yes one long legged ag4 blizer later, had now control f the ball.

The next ag4 blitzer moved in to complete the cageisch, but the tackle on my blitzer made him fall and that ended that turn.

But the positioning was quite good and it was not that easy to pop the ball and then have some spear players to receive the ball, as I really wanted to adapt to were the ball went. IF I managed to get the ball in the first place.

The blocking saved the day as I rolled only that for the next 6 block dices.

Finally the wrestle in my team got the blitzer down and ball was again, followed up with an ok bounce.

So I moved the thrower in, but he also showed some nerve and had to really focus (RR used)  to get that ball up from the ground... what is the big deal with this, really.

Without block he could not really keep it and had to send it flying to our catcher with blodge.

At that time, all Kislev dudes where on the back some saw stars but could still move.

It was first later they understood that the start they saw was the elfs of course.

So with Jump up they moved around quite easy, 

One leap later, oh now, he landed on the ankle.. oouch, he really focused and could then land and continue, now with zero training left, The blitz was done with 1d, and a push was all that came out of that one (blitzing lino had wrestle so, ok move).

So one leap later and my catcher with the ball was not shadowed with diving tackle ag4 blitzer.

The leaping continued and then it stopped as another catcher landed bad and could not recover.

My turn then, turn 13, I had to chain push the catcher to not have to trigger the diving tackle dude, so that went fine. I then went as far as I could without scoring. 

Way away from the angry humans. 

 

Not much happened then as catcher failed the next leap, and that meant I could actually stall another turn.

As I was in control now, there was no point setting up to get hit more than I needed to. 

And still of course 2-1 was important.

 

Turn 14 went with some blocking.

Keslev charged in with the bear, hunting that last 2 spp for a skill, but no.

Some moves threatening the catcher with the ball, and I decided to make some block, and after a double skull, was saved with some rr. I decided to listen in on nuffle and scored.

 

So one turn left, and I tried a messy defense for that, which was not that great.

The setup was made and Kislevs could move one step free, due to some strange surprise.

That one turner was still far away, but this did not help at all.

Some correct results later and nothing failed.. 

It was the time to move the ball, so pickup was made, again no rr left.

The pass had to be done over some elfs heads and the rookie catcher scoped the ball out of the thin air and settled the game.

 

Turn 16  is when we then do our first cas, well better now than never but.

And a bonus pass was also made.

 

2-1 as end result.

Facing a Lizards and one anabolic version which is rarely seen. Strength time 3, and of course another double on the skink now str3.

Super amazing, currently the leader of the pack, and I understand why. 

It's quite hard to get those strength 5 beasts down at this level T4 and some with just one season in the back. 

Vs my vanilla team without guard, it was uphill from the start. 

 

I saved the money enjoying the wiz, or hoped to do,

 

In Game: 

So, they won the toss, and selected to receive.

Quick snap on the quick kick and game was on. 

First block is a RIP on a Rookie 0 spp lino, I had to let him go.

 

He aimed to go for my right, so I went right, right?

And he felt a bit blocked and retreated and the krox went Huh!?

So backing up putting up some defense and The strong blessed Saurus went double skull, RR Double skull and was thrown out with a sledge hammer as a fist, or so I can imagine it felt, and was ko'd.

 

So with Krox naked in terms of tackle zones, I just, hmm it is a bit early the cage is almost there.

One down and I can hut that skink carrying the pigskin with movement boost (of course they have it all ;)) SureFeet and sprint.

And I whistled on the Wiz, Fireball please!

He nodded and BANG.

The Saurus protecting the side of the cage with MY NOSE IS BUUURNING!

And went straight out to the Ko'box for some water and took his strength 5 with him.

The speedy Skink went, My fast Feet are BUURNING!

The Sure feet did not protect him there.

 

The ball came lose, and landed in a bit tricky position.

The other two targets skinks made it.

 

And it was "just" to move in and the game changed as the ball was threaten by two Sidestepping Elfs and the big guys was a bit eeey.

The MB Saurus was pissed off and removed my wrestler from the game witha BH.

Some big dudes moved in and got some cover over the ball.

The Krox still tried to figure out what just happened.

 

Some chain movement later the ball was free and my blitzer could scoop up the ball and took some steps towards the scoring line.

Then is was all about protecting and hunting the ball keeper.

Time fly and I had no interest to give @Warzog Conquest more time then I needed.

His team could do Touchdowns very fast.

So I stalled until I did not want to risk 1d or dodges and still be safe. So I scored and there was 2 turns left to use.

1-0.

 

Setup was done in the normal manner.

And somehow two large rocks came in flying, removing my blitzer on the side that was also aimed to push forward on "DAIM".

The other rock took down the Krox.

So the move forward but the ball was on the other side of the Open-by-the-rock side.

There was some scary movement and the ball handling was not perfect but with the team training it was all good.

 

It was all about defense and also some threat to secure 2-0, or an option if something failed.

3+ Blitz to get 2d on the rookie skink. 

But there was no way to get him down even with the training we do outside of the matches.

So, I had to put some hopes on skinks unfortune to manage this one now.

But that was flawless executed and with 3 sprints no rr was needed and 1-1 settled.

 

Alright, I had the number for a shot on the one turner.

So, why not, but the first blitz was getting the Saurus down, and not possible anymore, so I thought what the heck.

Burned the RR.. and then it worked flawless... until the last GFI fo 2-1, so it ended 1-1 in the first half.

Well, better than expected.

 

Second half

Defense was to go back a bit. 

So I moved up slowly and blocked the Los, and actually removed the Krox with a MNG.

Meaning 5 Saurus left and 5 skinks vs 11 elfs.

There was a small movements going on watching every step with care, no-one could afford mistakes now.

Another Saurus went MNG, and the confidence with the blocking went up to Sunglasses mode!

And then elf honor, and we did 8 blocks with only pushes.. and I heard it.

No, by all means, you do it. No, you do it. No No, your turn to knock him down.

 

We lost a catcher on the turns later and there was movement forth and back looking for opportunities from both sides.

Time was almost running out the the threat was now to high so we went for it. Pushing hard and did all we could to get some cover to protect the catcher now with the ball.

The protection was to weak as a tripping as he did all he could to get there, but he was to exhausted and did not allow us to finalize protection.

The skinks came in hard and the strong one pulled a pow from his hat and down my poor catcher went. The ball bounced towards the TD zone and the catcher was not stunned but the TZ from the supporting Skink was bad enough.

I could remove him with a blitzers blitz and the dodge from the strong one to pickup the ball, but he lost it, and pure will and concentration from the training made him regain it before it hit the surface and could settle another lead 2-1.

And, 2 turns left.  

 

Saurus came in took my blitzer down and pushed with his strong skink who got the ball from his fellow but weaker skink.

And moved up.

I could get a 1d,  but I could also get 2d on the saurus making it harder to get through to score.

Not much to do, running forward the rr went directly on the dodge from my tackler.

-2D and hope for the best, a push or better to at least open the wall.

Bothdown would have stopped him, but none came up. Push was selected and then through the tiny gap, he run.

Run with one GFI to reach the Zone of glory!

6 came up and 2-2 was the final score.

 

Amazing game where I had quite some luck with armour and injury.

Not to mention the fireball in the start.

Very nice played so it's not just a powerful team, there is a coach behind it equally skilled.
