I really don't understand why they have decided to ruin the vampires like this. Basically hypnotic gaze has become wildly unreliable as you will always have to roll savagery on 4+ in order to even try it.

But it works on a 2+ instead of a 3+.

So if you move a thrall next to you before try it then it is better than before at the potential cost of an armour roll on that thrall.

So when you really want to gaze you can.

The problem is the regular movement to form a cage or screen just got a lot harder.

Main driving force must be that there was no Bloodlust in the base rules (god know why). So they needed something to replace it with.
Hopefully this is only a place holder until they can release vamps really for the 2020 ruleset.

This is atleast the theory the I really hope is somewhere near the truth :D

Amazons, Norse and Nobles getting specialist throwers with PA3+ is stupid. So much for encouraging the passing game. Skaven, Orc and Human throwers get 2+, why not the rest?

High Elf throwers are more like it, 100k starting!

Why not the rest is simple.

Balance.

It'll trump logic every time.

seen A-khorne full card and I love it.

Claws, Dauntless, Dodge, Frenzy, Side step, no hands, stunty, Titchy, Loner (4+)
80k, All teams
Special: can rerroll failed Dauntless rolls

I can see this as the reason why Tier 1 teams won't be allowed to hire star players in TT tournaments

I will not order from GW site so sadly I will not enjoy BB3 beta.

About Legacy teams, this is IMO only as substitute before they will re-relase this teams with proper re-work (like Undead).

And sadly for Vamps there was no Blood Lust in main rules so they had to use something if they wanted to avoid adding new skills in such way.

Only really had a skim as working until 22:00, but I'm feeling strangely positive about the new edition. I started with 2nd ed and think this ads back a little of the complexity from that version, while maintaining much of the streamlining that was required for 3rd ed to get game times down.

Got the necro Spike! while waiting for mine and Professor Frönkelheim is kinda bonkers. Basically a 130k inducement that allow 1D3 players gain a random mutation for the game, and after it you roll 1d6 for each. On 1 they get MNG, on 2-5 nothing happens, on 6 the mutation gets permanent. I can see this being used on zombies quite often.

FAQ is up and there is a HUGE change that went under the radar to many (me included): We now can use as many rerrolls per turn as we have. The limit of 1 per turn is no more. The only limit standing is that 1 particular roll can only be re-rolled once (be it by skill or team rr)
