Missing Awards?

So its pretty simple, I had compiled a fair number of awards over my seasons play, especially those around punching, killing, maiming and stamping on opposing players of which I had more than my fair share... Yet they are all missing, makes me feel like I've been stripped of my hard earned work and that those who don't know me shall be unaware of my brutal record for fair play and excellent player removal in a most violent fashion..

 

Anyway way of getthing these back?

I'm afraid not. The old award plugin was discontinued and there was no easy way to transfer it to a new plugin (nor did we have a new plugin at the time). This was when I was working my butt off setting up OCC in the BB2, and didn't have the help I do today, so I was mostly doing everything on my own. I was massively stressed out and ended up needing an extended break because I overworked myself. When it came to the awards, transferring them all manually was out of the question. I wish we still had the old database as we could certainly have found a better solution today. But it's most definitely gone now. So there's nothing I can do.

 

You can blame me because it was essentially my decision.

When I've got the time to come back I'll just have to earn them all over again..

Hehe.. I wondered the same thing, but now I guess I can stealth in as a newbie Though I see number of posts still shows

I had wondered why I didn't have any awards and especially my OCC title when I logged back in after several years recently.  Maybe another miracle will happen in BB3.

One thing that will always distinguish the "stealth newbie" from the real newcomer is the number of posts. @PaloLV on 3.1k and @humbe on 2.6k, you won't be able to hide that in a hurry!

 

As for the awards, I can only confirm that the old awards, approximately pre-2018, are gone, and we won't be able to recover them. But on the plus side, there is plenty of opportunity to earn new awards! You just need to play the game

I miss all my dirty git awards even more than my championship award (which would be confusing, because it was Tier 1 back then)!
