MD6 - Loving Nuffle

Ah, Nuffle. The God who Blood Bowl coaches pray to. And the demon who they curse. It feels like his whim is determined by chance- but not a normal chance. A fickle chance. A mean chance. And lets be honest- a hilarious chance. But one merely must understand what it is Nuffle wants. He answers all prayers. Generally his answer is 'GFY'. But surely this means his favor is granted to some benighted few? Surely someone has recited the proper prayers or made the proper sacrifices? Alas, no. They are also cursing Nuffle, for something else.

 

Everywhere in the Blood Bowl world, skillful decisions are punished. All of them.  In his amazing cosmic power, Nuffle always grants Blood Bowl coaches failure. All of them. Every one of them is the unluckiest bastard in the world- (just ask him!). I have heard of a coach so pathetic that he rolls 1s and 2s almost a third of the time! Can we use some voodoo to control the dice? Not for long I guess.

 

And Nuffle awards every coach's opponent excellent luck. Such is his deviousness. The worse the opponent, the luckier he is. The stupider the decision, the greater the dice our opponents gain. And therein lies our answer. We have learned the secret to loving Nuffle's whim: we must become opponents! The simplicity of it! It's been staring us in the face the whole time! We must simply determine: how do we become an opponent? A benificient of the dice of fate? One of those blind idiots whose every stupid dumb bad dumbness is rewarded with success?

 

 

The most brilliant scientists, the most powerful kings, the most devious thieves, and the most magickal wizards have all worked to understand this paradox. How can a coach gain the impossible luck of all his opponents? How does a mortal coach, indeed every mortal coach that every Blood Bowl coach plays against, gain Nuffle's favor like every opponent he has ever played has? They have all determined the same cryptic answer: use the 2P controller.
