With redraft coming in season 9 of bb3, will occ be using redraft? I mostly ask as we are getting to the stage of 2 million teams and honestly it's a little dull

Agreed.  I'm definitely open to discussions about including redraft in OCC, but it's hard to have an opinion until we know the details.

There is currently no redraft (or at least shouldn't be).

Need to test the thing a bit and figure out what format to run the league in if we go that route.,

As time goes by, I’m realizing that redraft isn’t actually that bad (based on experience from other leagues). The problem on our end is that we have some extremely strong teams (for example in the Championship), and going straight to a redraft at, say, 1600 would be devastating. However, I think it would be fine to limit team value at the start on a season-by-season basis, and then gradually move toward a redraft. cheers

Well I imagine there's going to have to be a complete league reset when everything switches over to the new rules... so I guess that would be when you'd implement a redraft should the comissioners were inclined to do so...

From what I've gathered there will be a forced reset of the league. 

Probably redoing the poll closer to that, as that puts things in a different situation (and would impact the structure of the league).

So, what exactly will happen next season? What does a redraft entail?

We currently have no idea for next season with Nacon having issues and all.

The update from BB3 to Warhammer Blood Bowl would nuke any ongoing league and is supposed to happen during next season, so next season is on hold for the moment.

 

Once we have any clue about a timeline and/or if Warhammer Blood Bowl is going to be a thing at all we'll make an announcement.

 

All I've heard is that development is continuing at the moment.

Hello, We have no specific comments to make on the studio’s side at this time. Any official communication regarding planned games/support/else will be handled by Nacon. As far as we are concerned, to date, Warhammer Blood Bowl development is continuing as planned
