Not possible to trim RR's in BB3?

So I just took leader on on a DE thrower and wanted to drop a RR to trim TV. Not possible in BB3? Can it be done between seasons, or am I stuck with 3+1 RR!?

If I recall, you can only remove rerolls if your team isn't in a competition.

when you redraft your team you can buy less re-roll than your previous season .

but without redraft you can'T trim re-roll
