That ogre...

and that Mino.....

and that Vampire.......... wow

Since we have a new thread going and I had the honor of introducing the last super star in the old one, here he is again :

rekim.jpg

Unfortunately, he took a -av last season in div 1, but he's still looking pretty peachy.

Phaos was not there for the first game of Pain Treatment - only 3 chaos warriors played that one - but he was recruited into the team just a few games later. After the loss of two minotaurs (may they rest in pieces), Phaos, the young recruit, the ambitious warrior, took it upon himself to be the Big Guy, the pillar of support of the team. With claws sharper than anyone and strength that would make Scwharzie himself shit his governatorial pants, he has the record for the most kills in a season in the history of the OCC, with 4 kills in season 8 ! He played his first game as a superstar against none other than the Bear Hunters, coached by the fearsome and much respected Telorast, where he has proven worthy and helped secure an incredible win.

4 MVP

3 TD

1 pass

6 kills

32 injuries

30 KO

12 yards passed

96 yards run

Injured 3x

KOed 6 times

After the very last game in division 1, two beastmen rose to fame and became super stars as well. Prepare yourself tier 2, here come Scrufmulgors and Gnar'nogor :

YNaY3.jpg

The first tackle on the team, he played a critical role in defending against elf teams from the start of his career. He started out as a ball stealer with wrestle and tackle, and branched out into mass murder with mighty blow, claw and now piling on. He still has a very promising career ahead and has only missed two games since the team was born. Please give a round of applause for the elves' nightmare !

48 games

6 MVP

3 TD

4 pass

1 interception

1 kills

17 injuries

19 KO

38 yards passed

142 yards run

Injured 5x

A somewhat late addition to the team, he was barely seen in the early games, always looking at his mates from the bench. Sad and lonely, he decided dump his girlfriend, hire a lawyer and hit the gym until he became stronger. His newly acquired muscle made him some friends and after the demise of the team's late ball carrier at Hobnail's doing and a fateful double giving him dodge, he started to take a liking to that round slippery thingy that seems to always be on the field where all our fighting matches happen. Anyway, he made it a point of honor to pick it up and taunt the enemy with it. Some taunts were heard back but most of the time enemies didn't have the cojones to challenge Little Muscle Goat, as other affectionately called him. He still hasn't decided how he is going to spend his latest training voucher.

4 MVP

13 TD

1 pass

0 interception

2 kills

8 injuries

4 KO

The Black Death's first game of season 10 sees them gain another superstar on the Roster.

Tuyer.jpg

Matches: 41

MVP: 1

Touchdowns: 3

Passes: 67

Receptions: 20

KOs: 1

Tackles: 1

Yards Passing: 654

Yards Running: 1030

He is definitely the workhorse of the team but the fans don't seem to love him much, with only 1 mvp.

Guess I'll add my superstar too..

Not as outragious as many others here, but a useful woodelf. And probably the biggest reason I didn't manage to retire my team after last season :D

Strange stats on the statistics page.. What does blocks mean? I've got to have blocked way more than 3 times with him. Int.sustained also sounds strange. Is that number of times he has throw the ball but enemy intercepted it?

More than 1.5 passes per game? Blimey.

(Though I am wondering how many of them involved 'to me, to you' in the backfield.)

Actually very few. It seems that whenever I try to do those kinds of passes the ball is dropped, and if given only 1 turn to play I still go for a td :D.

I believe the Blocks and Blocks sustained have to do with failing dodges or making others fail a dodge, not rolling the block dice (although someone correct me if I'm wrong). As for Interceptions sustained you are correct, it is the number of times you have thrown the ball and someone intercepted it.

Nice player! I have a dark elf blitzer in another private league team that is almost identical! Just give your player Ma 8 and Av 8 and they are the same! :D

Most unbalanced pair of stormvermin I've ever seen! :P

Would have thought that Piling On for the last skill would have been more fitting than Tackle!

I considered piling on but with only MA 6 and no jump up I didn't like it. Of course if he makes it to his next level and rolls doubles I will reget it but my team lacks some tackle right now and it will help against all of my remaining opponents this season. Plus who wouldn't take the opportunity to foul him the first chance they get. I could see him piling on once and then getting killed with a boot to the head :P.

Id boot him every chance I get (which seeing as how im betting on relegation probably would be none :) )

VainGlory becomes the sixth ApocaBlitz Now! player to become a super star and simultaneously announces his retirement from the game due to injury!

vainglory.jpg

Career stats:

Played 47 Matches

Scored 7 TD's

4 MVPs

41 passes for 270y

19 receptions

1246y rushed

Inflicted 2 cas (1 death) and 1 KO

Sustained 8 injuries, 16 KO's.

VainGlory was the team's second runner in the early days, but soon took over as the main ball carrier due to his passing skills and offensive capabilities. When the previous runner retired he was then the only one left on the team until now! Will have to buy another runner soon I guess!

VainGlory managed to escape serious harm for a number of seasons and things started to look bright for his future when he developed extreme agility near the end of season 8. Unfortunately a lightning bolt broke his neck at the start of season 9 and his team mates started to complain about him not pulling his weight ever since. The management decided he would stay on though, as he was still good at fulfilling his main role on the team.

He ended his career on a high all the same playing in division 1 against the famous Bear Hunters team. His last action was to fumble a pick-up next to the sideline, after which he was powerless to get out of the way of a big Chaos warrior's charge and ended up getting smashed up by the frothing Bear Hunters fans in the crowd!
