To go back to the image at the top of this thread which I found inappropriate, the issue is not any spoof quality of the game but, rather, the fact that it seems quite natural to include a real-life example posted on a forum about a silly, cartoon fantasy football game. The model bears no relation whatsoever to the game and is posted for a clear reason. I was a little surprised to find it in this section of the forum and thought in unnecessary and inappropriate. In the future I will probably ignore any such thread. This society has a problem with the objectification and over sexualisation of women. I can see that from the perspective of a man, as a partner of a woman, and as a father of an 11 year old girl and 14 year old boy. The woman in question is valued because of her looks as institutions demands. It is true that men can be the subject also, but it is far more common and "natural" for the male form to be accentuate its power; this is how it is most often presented and viewed. The female form accentuates sexual desire; this is how it is most often presented and viewed.

Yeah, I really don't like this sort of thing. Just a personal position, as I think this sort of gaming puts plenty of barriers in the way of female participants. I can just about handle the silly team signatures featuring cartoon "babes" - not something I would do myself - but this sort of post on this forum isn't warranted.

Unless you are, say, 30k TV behind. Then spending 50k to get babes is worth it.

Team with highest TV commits his petty cash first. Lower TV team then commits theirs. New TV's are calculated. Assume me and you are playing and you are, say, 20k above me. I commit 100k from petty cash. I am now 80k above you, so I would have 100k and you would have 80k in inducements. Or, let's say I commit 100k from petty cash and you commit 50k. I am now 30k above you, so I would have 100k and you would have 80k in inducements.

The petty cash you spend adds to your TV.

Bloody TV interfering with the schedules. The boys were supposed to be on a beach in Marbella, so weren't too happy about having to get back early. That's probably why straume ended up with three dead star players. Still, I guess money talks and it was the big curtain raiser for the season.
