Blood Bowl 3 Round Robin Format

This is the current way BB3 generates fixtures as of April 2024. May change in the future, only Cyanide knows.

 

 

There is one fixed team top left, the remaining teams are all on a belt.

The belt moves one position in a clockwise direction each round.

 

So the expected round 2 fixtures here are.

 

Azimov v tys123
Kristofer_B v Ratamo
Smiling Tom v Djikicigo
Khuno Tridentis v Soapy
bjj hero v bob152

 

At time of posting this isn't confirmed, but it should be right.

Every 8 team division league I have seen has followed this format, and also the test 10 team competition I tried.

 

The initial Match ups for round one are populated from the team list of the competition in an anticlockwise direction.

 

 

 

So first on the list plays last on the list, which I believe is true for every group.

Well round 2 is here and the expected match ups did come to pass.

Being able go back through previous weeks fixtures for the leagues it tracks was very useful for checking all divisions were acting the same way.
