He's not playing in the league and new coaches have no relationship to him at all. (And many old coaches forget everything about him until the "autocorrect" screws up another post) Either drop it, or make a big post in the information center explaining about who he was and why he's such a central piece of OCC mythos. (To be honest I'd rather see an autocorrect translating all instances of "Dorf" into "Greybeard's boys", because at the moment he and his team are the only true living legends of OCC. LunchMoney - Ray had a ST 4 legendary goblin that liked to stick the boot in a lot. And I don't think I've ever accidentally triggered the auto-correct despite nearly three seasons of bragging about my high elves in match reports. (ie there is a growing crop of coaches that don't know this and it isn't very visible). A work for a budding OCC historian or storyteller perhaps. Since facts are getting forgotten, maybe El-vis should translate into "El-vis, the Stunty Green Fouling Git" - but that's definitely no rush. An alternate solution would also be Gallow's suggestion to just write an explanatory post somewhere in the forums, or have a permanent link on Xander's front page. In fact, I think it detracts from the greatness of the goblin in question. "Elv-is" is the king, the man, the legend. "Stunty Green Fouling Git" is a generic name that applies to every goblin ever created. If I want to refer to Elv-is, I want to refer to Elv-is. I always thought that a 'memorable teams' section would have been cool. But i'd prefer to die a slow death than to take on THAT endeavour.
